Did you find yours wondering, 'Just what have I gotten myself into?' Accepting a project and then discovering someone else's butchery has to be a discouraging challenge. Kudos for your perseverance! This install came out very nice in the end, especially the sound. One nice thing about SSS speakers is their broad frequency response range, down into the bass ranges, which allows you to discern the many auxiliary sounds - air compressor, fans, etc. Thanks again for sharing another demonstration of your skill, technique, perseverance, and ingenuity.

Nicely done. For whatever reason these never get old... lol. This install and the one you did on the Athearn SD70M are very helpful for a couple Genesis SD75Ms I want to get done this spring... Obstacles keep popping up getting in the way! Dang real life... Thanks for sharing 🤠

@SoloContracting I will install BNSF 8270 SD75M Locomotive and CSX 4861 SD70M with TSU PNP EMD BNSF doesn’t have flashing ditch lights CSX has flashing lights

Hi Larry. I've been enjoying your videos for a few months now. I started at the very beginning and have been working my way up the list. I'm currently about 30 videos from the top. I like how every loco has its special problems and your able to solve them. Quite inspirational and informative. I'm learning a lot. My first question (there will be a lot to follow) is when you install two LEDs in the front and/or back of a locomotive with dual lights, do you ever wire them in series like dual speakers? Can they share a resistor? Should it's value change? Thank you, Mark

I've never done that, but I don't see why you couldn't. Depending on how bright you want the lights, you could change the resistor value.
