Whether that means that evolution came after this or not I do not know (neither does anyone really, it's a theory that has not been proven yet), but does it really matter if evolution is real or not?

I'm personally not religious, but my favorite way I've ever heard creationism and evolution be combined is to ask the question "who are we to say what a day is for God?" I.e., one of the most common arguments by creationists against evolution is that in the Bible it clearly states that god created everything in seven days and the earth is only 6000 years old. But on the flip side, we are just mortals, who are we to decide what years and days are for a being as grandiose as Him.
