agreed. worst EHR imaginable. It has ruined my job for me all by itself. Leadership promised us cerner and then we get this instead. This was the best job I've had and athena has singlehandedly ruined it. I'm already looking for a new job. Stay away from athena. It's horrible and it will ruin your practice.

The only good thing about Athena Health is the mobile app. I don’t know how it enjoys the popularity it does. It causes me so much stress on a daily basis. If you are particular about documentation it will drive you insane because of the extreme rigidity. It’s probably the worst that I have used. It does not tailor to the user’s needs and preferences at all.

They are one of the biggest profiting insurers of the USA. You don't make profit without screwing others over.

Athena’s CEO rptd earnings = $357K annually. But they - and Upperline Health can’t afford a $.55 cent stamp to mail my Statement & payment confirmation. It’s been FIVE MONTHS and dozens of calls. KEEP AWAY and warn your physician not to partner with these bad actors.
