Are you ready for another Athens Greece Food Tour? Well in this video I'm taking you into Southern Athens, specifically Kallithea. Kallithea, Greece is known as an immigrant neighborhood that hosts many former Soviet States. So while of course we will visit a Greek Market and have Greek Wine from the island of Icaria, we will also have Uzbekistan food for lunch. So come along and explore the city of Kallithea in Athens Greece.

As anAthenian, I can assure you ,you did the best.Not touristic places, but around Athens,simple real food where we, the locals eat.Well done.

Thanks. Yeah there were certain parts of the city that were easy to find things to do and others not so much at least tourist wise. However, when it came to food. My favorite spots were out of the way areas of Athens.

Davaki Square exudes a tranquil atmosphere, inviting both the young and old to play and unwind. I was intrigued to discover snails being sold at Kallithea Central Market. The waterfront is absolutely stunning, providing an ideal setting for leisurely walks and contemplation. Two thumbs up, as always!

There are snails shops in all the markets I've been to in Greece. I think it's a Mediterranean thing. I've had snails in France and Spain before.

That Greek market looks amazing, I like the variety of Greek baked goods. They look delicious. The park and waterfront look very nice to hang out and chill. Not having a menu in English is always a challenge. I have used the camera feature of Google translate when travelling. But still end up with some food I wasn't expecting.

Thanks for this amazing tour in our city!!Actually the navy boat that you sow its the battleship 'Averof' it serve from1910 - 1952 .From 1984 until today, it has been reinstated on active duty as a museum ship.

Ben you are having too much fun! The park with it's musical inclinations looks like a really great concept for kids! Food of Central Asia is actually really flavoursome too not surprised you liked the Uzbek food - and then you get into the wine!

I totally dig that Athens has embraced all kind of world cuisine! And how smart to showcase that in your vlogs. That last restaurant though vasilikos kai diosmos meaning ( basil and mint) is what I’m all about. Love the name aaaand Yummm ! I also love that you visit and enjoy wine bars and the wines at Vaitsas did not disappoint! My parents always had Nemea on the table… Well tonight is my last evening in Greece and will be having a glass of wine at heteroclito, love it there, (one of your suggestions) and dinner at “mezze just a few steps up on metropopoloeos st, next to “o tzitzikas & o mermigas”(the cicada and the ant) both great places check them out when in Athens if you already haven’t 😉 Thank you for another fun video !

This is such a beautiful city! Good to know this isn’t the place to go to the beach so people can’t set their expectations properly. But I love the sea breeze. Woah! Did you say €10 for all of that food at the taverna? That’s a great price!

Yeah areas like Kallithea or Northern Athens, away from the city center it gets cheap as hell.
