Very very poor quality belt... In 5k kms my ather belt broken 2 times.. It's my 3rd belt today I got back my ather from sc.. And service quality is also very bad..

I have been riding for past 2 years. Pros: excellent rideability, super comfort, no vibration, service only needed after 5000 km. No need for petrol or oil change, useful features Cons: maps started failing after a year. No resolution from the company even after 30 emails (over 6 months) and phone calls apart from that. I gave up on that finally. That was my most required feature. Once sales is over, they treat you like trash. Service isn't costly, but towards 2nd service, there was a squeaking sound and they asked to change bearing which apparently costed around 4000😢 So we have no clue as to the cost of spare parts. As long as the vehicle runs smoothly, no need to worry. But when when a problem comes, either there is no support, or the spare parts are beyond our limits. The 3rd gen is overpriced. I had purchased the full option vehicle for 1.48, the same price is there for the base version without all the useful features.

Dude if you hade driven a petrol vehicle for 21000 km , your fuel cost would be around 45k to 50k, so stop cribbing over small cost.

@@Pradeesh...13 I had driven my ather only 2.5k kms and ather belt cost is 3800 rs including GST and on new belt no warranty... If I keep changing my belt after every 5k kms say it would be 4 k x 5 ( considering 20k kms ) it's 20 k if calculated with other service components it would be 1k per 1k kms ... Ather agreed that wendor provided poor quality belts so they should not sell them as they knew quality of them... That's why user have to pay everytime. I like ather compare to others that's why brought but such a major factor of belt should be taken care. It's not expecting from Indian company... Chaina se hoti to kimat to kam hoti... I am feeling like cheated by ather... Ather connect while buying few months back promise me that it will be free for a year... Now they charged for it. So be transparent to buyers they can understand. But don't compromise with quality even belt are not in stock on service center due to this problem. Old gen belt was good.

Please make a video for small problems like rear fender vibration, seat vibration, front low lighting visiblity, belt cut 3.1 & noise, mudguard to protect from being dirty, no subscription plans, high spares cost. With all above problems if u and all youtubers take seriously, the all ather owner would be thank ful. I am the owner of 450 and the new 450x gen 3, the point you said about the suspension, i don't agree on this , it's 10times better than Activa or access, my friend and my dad has this petrol scooter around 7months old which I have driven, ather has a better engineering 😊

I've been driving an activa 5g for the past few years. Last month was the first time I drove an Ather and I just loved the suspension setup... you don't realise how bad the suspension on Activa is unless you get to experience something else.

It's good compared to the worst suspension scooters like Activa or access. Ride Jupiter or ola s1 pro and you will be blown away. Ather has bad suspension set up.

Hi Pradeep If ts possible for you to add battery replacement cost, belt replacement cost and Motor replacement cost for Ather it will be easy for us to calculate our long term use of the Vehicle lets say five years or 10 year ownership. I have calculated the cost of replacement of battery motor and belt, break pads, display for Ola which is coming up to 1.6 lac. So if you can make a video of all the replacemnt parts cost it will be easy for us to calcualate and make a fair decision on which vehicle to purchase. I'm leaning towards Ola because of seat comfort and size me being a bit on heavier side. Would love to hear your opinion on this.

4k per year for belt cost. Battery cost 60-85k every 5 years. Motor cost don't know for now.

my ather 450 is 5 years old, 40k+ kilometers, there is no need to change the battery yet. all the components are same, accept for new tyres, break pads, and a belt.

New gen 3 scooter having poor belt quality... Cost arround 4000 rs and provide no warranty on Belt as they new the quality... No point in changing belt every few months... Service and parts are costly... Ather should official announce the warranty on parts if they provide good quality belt.

Yes also no warranty on new belt... Rubber products no warranty... Even Tyre have warranty...if the quality is good company should provide warranty.. after purchase by customer.. ask warranty on every part before buy... Also check service cost for each part before you buy.. specially belt which cost arround 4k

Ather is not a reliable brand anymore. Many issues are creeping in in gen 3. Belt brakes in about 10000 km. Sudden stoppage of subscription plan. Battery issues are there for multiple people that I directly know. They have greatly compromised on the product quality. Till these are rectified buy ather is a foolish thing to do...

My ather gen 3 is updated recently i get hazardous light working while the scooter is on reverse mode and fallsafe is working too but movement detection notification and anti theft (when scooter is moved i don't see any hazardous light mode working as i see in this video) in update it is noted that it has the feature but not working. There is no dedicated reverse button. You need to press the start motor button after holding rh brakes and it will work as reverse mode
