I think it’s really well made, and I enjoyed it greatly. Please, stop beating yourself up over stuff like this. It makes me so genuinely sad to see someone I enjoy watching say things like that. I always enjoy your rips. I’m pretty sure I liked all your rips before I even knew they were yours, and I don’t like too many rips because they clog up my liked playlist. I get it if this isn’t exactly the content you want to make, maybe because it’s not the content you’re known for, but that doesn’t make it inherently bad. It’s really good. And also, never feel pressured to upload. The creation of that Wii Music stuff could give you Carpal Tunnel if you aren’t careful, so take care of yourself first and foremost, and take some breaks every once in a while. Anyway. I hope you had a good holiday, and I hope your next year is the best year you’ve ever had.

honestly its just me wasting my time on this stuff. again, its unoriginal, people have been doing this for years, and i dont see the appeal in it anymore at least for me. i cant really put it into words but every single time i make one of these things, i get a mix of feelings such as emptiness, sadness, anger, etc etc. i just feel like im just like the other people and i dont want that. i want to stand out from others. i hope this makes sense my head's all over the place rn. thank you though, have a good rest of your year.

@@AdamCrossing Other people did this? Like who? You still didn’t answer the other person who asked. Also, nothing is original anyway. Toby Fox didn’t care about standing out. He didn’t know Undertale was gonna get as big as it did. It was luck that his skill and effort got noticed. He based Undertale and Deltarune off a TON of things he was into, directly referencing them and clearly showing inspiration from them. It’s not unique. Yet it’s still a really good series. Don’t worry about originality and just make what you want, and keep improving your skills.

@@komarunaegi7460 sorry, i didnt see the other reply. the other people, im talking about like siivagunner and the channels that are alike in that way. changing an existing song's melody to another song is what im talking about. i think that creating a game is a whole other thing; you can come up with your own stories, characters, plot, etc and it can still be pretty original and unique. melody swapping is a lot more limited in terms of creativity and it gets old very fast. not to mention that it also takes very little effort to make a melody swap (at least for me). before i started making melody swaps, i was creating custom wii music songs videos, and since no one has ever done that before i did, people found it unique and interesting. making wii music custom songs is a lot more fun to me, and i want to go back into making them. ive also moved onto making my own covers and arrangements that i have yet to upload, and i also find that a lot more enjoyable. i hope this helps explain a bit more how i feel.

@@AdamCrossing The thing is, SilvaGunner is a team of people that all love doing melody swaps, and don’t care that they’re all doing the same thing because it’s fun for them. There’s nothing wrong with you not enjoying doing it anymore, I just don’t think it’s healthy to beat yourself up over it since they clearly don’t, and they just do it cause it’s fun for them, as a collaborative effort. They’re a team and get tons of people to make videos for them. If you wanna do original compositions and your own covers because that’s more fun for you, that’s fine! Just don’t overthink things like originality as long as you’re just improving your skills and finding enjoyment doing it. Have some confidence, you know? You’re doing great!

This is actually fantastic. I actually wouldn’t mind some more videos in this style in the future. Or a swap where you do the NSMB Wii song with the wii play instruments.

sounds good! I'm like blown away about the sound quality of all this! All original sounds... But somehow i dont like how fl studio has a weird interface (at least for me)

Hey AdamCrossing! I wanted to write a little comment simply to say that I really enjoy all of your rips. It is pretty saddening to see that you are being harsh with yourself with these masterpieces that you call "stupid" and "unfunny". Obviously, I think that they are quite the opposite in fact, they might not seem qualitative to your ears, but to us, they are really creative, impressive and even inspiring! Your ability to reproduce songs that does not have any official midi files or soundfonts for them is stunning, and I can say for sure that your talent made you my favorite "ripper". Believe me, I rarely subscribe to people and that subcribtion should tell you how much precious your content is. Now that this is said, never force yourself creating something you don't like because other people expect it from you. People who truly enjoy your content will stick around with your wonderful Wii Music videos and banger mashups! And small question for you: How did you get the Fantom X samples functioning in FLStudio? Is there a link to buy and download the VST plugin? I've been looking for one for a looong time!
