Well, if you had actually looked at Miller's race, you would have seen that, unlike this man, she was leading the entire time, and unlike this man, she didn't look back to see how ahead she was and dived. Y'all actually think you know more than the Olympic council. She was dying from exhaustion, took a while to recover after the race, unlike this man, and you're saying its bull? I guess the Olympic council should out rule jumping or leaping over the finish line (just keep it for long jump or high jump guys). Seriously, Americans come out of the woodwork every four years to criticize sports they watch once every four years and don't know jack shit about. Maybe if you've seen races outside of the Olympics or know people who do track, then you know dives hurt more than they help, and actually slow you down, or make you fall short of the finish line. She was collapsing and made a last ditch attempt by trying to lean and it resulted in a dive. But people would actually have her fall before the finish line, rather than make an effort. Watch her legs, I mean, c'mon. Her torso crossed the finish line. Those are the rules, the judges clearly ruled it admissible, and she in no way obstructed her opponents from finishing. It isn't illegal, or a loophole, as long as the athlete's torso crosses the line.End of story.

Diving is for swimming. You run to the line. This is running so if I run faster then I win. Period. I'm not diving across the line. Imagine if Shaunae and Felix both dived at the line. That would be the stupidest end of a race ever. Deliberately diving to the line should be a disqualification. If you can't beat someone on foot then you lose. Plain and simple.

Miller, on the other hand, set herself up to be unlikeable by talking about Felix. And Felix would've won without the dive yet she STILL took credit for being the best runner in that race, like girl no.

I don't get why people generalize. It's so stupid to put everyone in the same boat. I'm an American and I don't care who does it, American or not, diving is a cheap way to win. I know lots of people who feel this way. Track is about running, so you should win by running, not diving. If you wanna dive, hit the pool. That guy did not obtain his bronze medal in a respectable way and neither did Shaunae. Moves like that shouldn't be allowed. I don't know... I have a very hard time respecting anyone who tries to win like that. Once again, it seems cheap.
