I don't usually comment on fan vids, but I am making an exception in this case. Yes, theirs is such a complicated relationship. They are two very complicated beings and their love for each other is both surreal and passionate. The electricity between these two on screen is undeniable and you captured it very well. The last shots of the two of them side by side as they anguished over the failure of one to show and the other to wait was heartwrenching. The actors embody the strength, courage and confusion of their characters. Any other actress, I don't think, could not have been strong enough of will and fortitude to hold her own against Tom's Athos. Maime McCoy is simply stunning as Milady and I am so glad to see her development into such a strong female kick-ass role. Unfortunately, (for us, anyway) she is pregnant and will not return to reprise her role as Milady until well into Season Three. One can only hope it will be sooner rather than later.. Tom and Maime absolutely sizzle together on screen, more than any other pairing in my recent memory (exception: Robert Taylor and Katee Sackhoff from Longmire, although this past season saw none of the sizzle scenes that were evident in season one and two for Longmire).. I am watching this video again many years later. And I have to say, the story of Athos and Milady is one of the greatest stories and tragedies of The Musketeers, both in this telling and in others. I so wish their story could have had a different ending in the series, but it was fated not to be. And sometimes, those are the very best and heartfelt stories -- what could have been.
