This walkthrough video goes from entering the South Terminal, checking in for our domestic Delta flight, and walking to our gate in Concourse E. This video was filmed on the afternoon of Monday, July 26, 2021.

This video is very helpful. I’m absolutely, totally terrified to take my very first ever flight (I’m 35 and horrified) but I’m trying to “tour” the airport and research it as much as possible before getting there so I don’t panic. Thank you for taking this!

Thank you so, so much for uploading this - I'm from Canada flying over to the States in a couple months and this is my first time flying alone, I have severe social and generalized anxiety disorders alongside some physical disabilities and being able to see exactly what the layout of the place is and how to get to the gates in advance is an absolute blessing - I can't thank you enough! :)

Keep in mind, ATL is the largest airport in the entire world with regards to passenger per year. If you can manage ATL you can do any airport! My first ever flight was also out of Atlanta. Fortunately it is well laid out with plenty of signs to tell you where things are.

Do you still need to check in at the front counter even if you have no bags to drop off?

Not if you have a digital boarding pass (such as from an airline app).

So the check in process is the same with a carry on bag correct?

Yes, you just won’t have to print baggage tags or visit the baggage drop off as shown in my video. Just skip that and head towards security

You can make one with American Airlines, I have to travel with them and it's my first trip and I'm going alone❤️

I don’t have any plans to fly with American Airlines in the near future but if you check out my video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mrOHdb2bnc6dgKc.html you can see where the American check in and baggage drop is in the very first seconds of the video walkthrough. This video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/js6pg7dzr9CdYKc.html shows checking in with Southwest which is located right next to the American counter.

How long does it take to get completely in the air and how long does your ears pop

I’ve never timed it but it usually takes about ten minutes to get to cruising altitude after taking off. If your ears pop it will happen within the first one or two minutes of taking off. My suggestion to help avoid any uncomfortableness is to chew gum or yawn as the plane is climbing because it can cause your ears to go ahead and pop if they are going to. Not everyone’s ears pop - my wife’s usually doesn’t.

Seattle is not that far and you had a big plane and on this route Delta is using a Boeing 737-800.

After checking FlightAware records it appears that most recently Delta has mostly been flying the 767-400 or 767-300 on this route. I'm not sure about about the more distant past.

I fly from NC to Korean. I stops at Atlanta so i have to check in again or just find the gate and fly to Korean?

If your flight is on the same airline and same reservation you should just be able to go to your gate to fly to Korea.

Only concourses F is international terminal right ?

There are only international flights in concourse F. There are both international and domestic flights in Concourse E. The other Concourses are primarily domestic

Thanks agua un for your videos. I saw this and other where you depart from Atlanta and you show how you print tags for your luggage. In our case we'll be arriving to Atlanta (back Home) from SC so I supposed we won't hace checked luggage un Atl and ir we use one of those kiosks we Will print just our boarding passes. Is this right? You hace to use those kiosks ir have.the chance to go through a human being? Ando last but not elástico, Will wey hace to go through TSA in Atlanta or that si supposed yo he done un SC and obe time isi ok? No more questions for today. Thanks un advance.

Using the kiosk and TSA security is only of passengers departing from Atlanta. If you are just arriving at ATL you just have to collect your luggage (if you have any) and leave.

@@bozy106 Thanks for your answer. I have that clear when I arrive to Atlanta from abroad. Now I was asking when I arrive from other airport in the US. I supposed that no tag printing is needed because that was made in the other departing airport and now (while I write this) I think that boarding passes to get my international flight from Atlanta back home are issued in that airport too. Thanks again.

@@diegoferrando9346 correct. The first airport should give you all your boarding passes and put the luggage tag on which will stay on until you reach your final destination.
