@Sold Not Told P So theoretically, Frank Reich is the GOAT?
@lucasbenjaminlasterbennett52653 жыл бұрын
@Sold Not Told P First of all, I STRONGLY believe that Joe Montana is the G.O.A.T. No, I'm NOT a 49ers fan before you ask. Second, if GOATS were based on NFL's largest comebacks, it would be Frank Reich, who orchestrated the biggest comeback in pro football history in a 32 point comeback and 41-38 win in OT. Third, on December 7, 1980 Joe Montana led back a 28 point comeback against the Saints. So, I think somehow Reich is in the conversation for GOATS I guess?

I'd say there was, conservatively, a 95% chance Beast Mode gets in there with 3 attempts. Probably closer to a 99.9% chance in all honesty. Pete got way too cute in that situation. But hey, on the bright side, you guys dominated the Broncos the year before, so you have something to hang your hat on. A Bills fan, for example, knows nothing but pain 😅

I watched that game with my best friend, Chuck. He was a life-long Georgia boy. University of Georgia, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, and Atlanta Falcons. Unlike most people around here, he wasn't a fairweather fan. He proudly wore their gear even when they only won a single game. In September, at the start of the season, Chuck was diagnosed with a rare form of genetic Pancreatic cancer in stage 4. Coincidentally, his wife of over 20 years left him the day before that because she was bored with him always watching sports. He was a good husband and father. He worked at the same place from 14 years old until he died at only 53. Loyal to a fault, even after his wife cheated. His life was destroyed in just 2 days. So this was his last year on earth and I was so pumped, screaming for Atlanta in his living room as if they were my team. I wasn't optimistic going into it, but Atlanta came in hot, dominating the Pats like gods. I thought it was meant to be. At half time, Chuck looked depressed. I couldn't belive he wasn't bouncing off the walls. I asked him why he wasn't thrilled. He shook his head and said that Atlanta had lost 3 games that year after being up huge at halftime. He said they were probably already partying in the locker room, then they'd come out flat in the 2nd half. "And that's Tom Brady on the other side." He knew hos sports. He never said a word until NE tied it. Then he said, "See?" When it was over, he went to his room. He died that June, never seeing his beloved Falcons bring one home. Ive taken momentos of the Braves and Bulldogs wins and Freddy Freeman's MVP to his grave. I want my Niners to win every game, but I'd love to glue a big Super Bowl pin on that headstone one day.

Steffen Samlal I knew New England was go win because Falcons defense sucks. Their offense carried them to the super bowl. Their defense just got lucky getting a lot of turnovers. So when New England played perfect in the second half, they had no means of stopping them lol. And they got gassed as New England ran near 100 plays compared to just 60 ran by the Falcons offense.

Rubbing what in R. Goodell's face?? He still earns 42 Million a YEAR Tax free as NFL is a non-profit. The Owners including R. Kraft made $ as idiot taxpayers pay for new stadiums every 20 years. So he had an awkward moment handing the Lombardi trophy to a QB that earns less than him. R. Goodell has job security unless the league falls under or NFL Owners feel he is stopping them from getting even more $.

Anybody who's followed the whole entire Brady era knew it was about to happen, every time he's lost a game it's been either receivers fault for dropping passes perfectly thrown right to them, or offensive lines fault allowing him to get hit too many times, or defense fault for allowing the other team to score too many points, unlike Peyton Manning Brady personally has never played a bad game, all the games he's lost have been close, he's never been blown out I don't think!
