As a falcons fan, much respect to the lions and their coach dan campbell for what he has done for the detroit team and how he has turned their team around. I believe this game will be extremely intriguing. Two teams trying to shock the world. For atlanta, this is the first road game and it will not be an easy one at all. Offensively, i expect to see the most passing offense we have seen all year from ridder, obviously constant run attacks but involve and balance the run and pass game. Defensively, the secondary has to be up for the challenge, this lions offense is elite at throwing the football, pressure needs to be brought towards goff and try to limit their passing offense as much as possible. Much respect to detroit, should be a fun game. Go falcons #RiseUp

For the Lions it comes down to two things. Stop the run, and get a big lead to take the run game off the table late in the game.

Detroit is definitely going to be looking to stop that rushing attack early, but it wont be easy with Bijan or Tyler. Ridder did much better with passing last week, and i hope that continues, but he also got it done with his legs. Jared looks to be in solid shape so far too, im excited to see how it plays out come Sunday.

However, the CLOSE games that season we won with OUR RUN GAME dominating the time of possession. I did not forget that we had not 1 but 2 great running backs that year. The duo of Devonta Freeman & Tevin Coleman!. From a pure production standpoint, Freeman and Coleman combined for 1,599 yards rushing and 883 more receiving during the 2016 regular season w/ 24TDs

This looks like a great match up. Not sure how much injuries will affect Detroit, but it could be a difference maker. Atlanta gave Robinson a smaller role in the rookie's first game, which he made the most of it. They gave him a lot more opportunities last week, and he unquestionably rose to the occasion and is proving himself to be a significant threat. Making an unblocked defender miss is a talent, making multiple defenders miss is usually a fluke, but with him, it's seeming to be more of a staple. He has extremely good vision, balance and agility, but mainly he makes lightning quick decisions and reactions on his moves. I think Atlanta is going to give him even more opportunities, force Detroit to invest significantly to stop the run, and it'll open it up for Ridder to make plays on downs that aren't an obvious passing situation.
