Atlanta is one of the centers of Black entrepreneurship in America. But it's way more than that. We'll check in with the mayor of the biggest city in the south on why Atlanta works, and why you should want to do business here too.
Andre Dickens, Mayor of Atlanta Interviewer: Seth Cohen, Chief Impact Officer, Forbes.

Name another city in America where there are more black male millionaires? Atlanta doesn't hype itself up enough.

@dmac5808 Big deal, the majority of those "Black millionaires" are doing practically nothing for the multitudes of disenfranchised Blacks throughout metro Atlanta, so I stand by my initial comment. Oh and by the way, I've lived here in Atlanta since 1978...🤨

How ever listened to a complete session of the proceedings in Council Chambers? I don't have to live or work in Atlanta or any other city in the USA. I can tell you how these things work out. There are 3 or 5 Citizens that show up almost every week or at least once a month and they advocate for the communities they live in. For affluent areas if there is something going on that the community doesn't like, dozens of wives will show up in support of their point of view and they will continue attending any time this issue is on the docket. The things you hear on the News at 6oopm are usually, wildly inaccurate. I know this because I worked in City Council Chambers for one of the biggest cities in the USA. I haven't listened to another session since I was reassigned.

Most of the Black mayors have had very corrupt administrations and the majority of Blacks in the city are still poor and uneducated. Having 7 straight Black mayors only benefitted a small few. But Atlanta is a great place to do business and is on the up

You sure it's not the GSH playlist on your page that's the problem... or at least those that can do all the lyrics in those high I.Q. songs in one take? I wasn't aware that it's ever a mayor's "job" to oversee the school system of any town. Actually, ALL the Hip Hop I ever listened to CAUSED ME to be the Audio Engineer in City Council Chambers for 2 years and a Dispatch Technician for another 20 years. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aKh2jZCEpqjUf40.htmlsi=yivD6fJRRzZY5f31

@@erictaylor3897 Moving to Atlanta? Yes. Current census data estimates 184,000 UNDOCUMENTED ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS now ILLEGALLY reside in the metro Atlanta area alone with at least 68,000 of them so far eligible for relief (possibly SSI and now ILLEGALLY voting also) under the Obama administrations executive actions. This time, I'll leave out ANY criminal activity not covered here or by the mainstream media. Maybe this way, I'm assuming this post won't be subject to CENSORSHIP deletion. Maybe not.
