In this episode of K-Town, host Matthew Kang touches down in Atlanta, Georgia - home to one of the largest Korean-American populations in the country - and kicks off this Southern adventure with a visit to Yet Tuh, an old-school, traditional Korean restaurant that has a place on Eater’s list of the 38 essential restaurants in Atlanta.
Eater is the one-stop-shop for food and restaurant obsessives across the country. With features, explainers, animations, recipes, and more - it’s the most indulgent food content around. So get hungry.

It's not bad. Your standard Korean BBQ so they are several restaurants just like it close by. A bit on the expensive side in my opinion, but still a viable option for Korean BBQ.

Thanks for watching the FOURTH season of our Eater show, K-Town. We started out in LA's Koreatown but I always knew, in my mind, that this series had to go to Atlanta. I'd never been to Atlanta but just heard so many great things about the food scene, and honestly, the Korean food in ATL is as good as LA's...and as good as KOREA's. Atlanta should be proud of its amazing Korean food. I can't wait to share more of the finds in the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

If you're ever back in Atlanta, try Duluth and Suwanee areas. Buford Highway was the Koreatown back in the 90s but it all moved up north now.

@@ShenardLyeah I was hella confused when he labeled Buford highway as "koreatown". This might have been true in the 90's which was roughly thirty years ago. I stumbled upon this video thinking, maybe it was an old video but it's only 6 years which is fairly recent. People gonna be disappointed to visit Buford highway after watching this video for some good Korean food to find there are none. Smh😂

Nice, I never heard of this Korean restaurant on Buford Hwy. I mainly just go where my Korean friends suggest so this will be cool to check out. I think he (or Eater) should do a whole series (just a couple of episodes) on Atlanta Korean food, especially in Duluth where the real K-Town is.

it seems like Asians only do Asian food for some reason. I wonder if it's a comfort zone thing because white people have no problem doing Asian food. It's done all the time on youtube. There are definitely a high concentration of Korean restaurants there on Buford highway, but there is also an extremely high concentration of Chinese, Vietnamese, Malaysian and Mexican restaurants, some of which the best of what the city of Atlanta has to offer(and I would argue some of the best in the southeast). Buford hwy is less a "k-town" and more of a melting pot of a lot of different ethnic cuisines. You want Korea town, go to Duluth/Johns Creek.

If it's a family style meal where each person gets a rice bowl and several main dishes are in the middle, chopsticks are necessary to pick up the food. You're going to pick up fish with a spoon? Big chunks of meat and large vegetables? No. In Korea and Japan where banchan is very normal and where you get like half a dozen side dishes a spoon just isn't going to cut it. Stop being so ignorant.
