Great video Caleb! I finally received mine as well, after a long pre-order wait of around six months and I have to say, it was worth every penny! Love the ease of installation, and the overall improvement it provides by finally having a proper headrest especially when reclining in the chair. 👍

Yeah, it’s a solid addition. I do wish you could tighten down the forward and back movement a bit more so it was stationary. But I do end up adjusting to reach maximum comfort more often this way.

@@CalebWojcik Yeah, you're right, I just torqued mine down a much as possible, and it is still just a tiny bit looser than I'd like, but not bad overall. If I had one nitpick, that would be it too.

6 months! their website states an order will take 6-8 weeks, now if I knew it would take half a year I would of considered another option

I'm 6 foot 4.5 inches and this video MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE MAKING A BIG PURCHASE! So thank you! The Head Rest is a MUST HAVE IF YOU ARE A TALL PERSON IMO. Especially if you are buying this chair with the END GOAL BEING = PERFECT POSTURE. You're going to need the headrest if you haven't been sitting up straight WHY YOU MIGHT ASK? Well your neck muscles are going to be REALLY WEEK for the first week or so of using the chair "Properly" especially for US TALL BOYS, so being able to "rest your neck" WITHOUT GETTING OUT OF THE CHAIR IS AMAZING.

the up and down of mine doesn't seem to stay after a few months of using the head rest. If I raise it now, it just slides down :(

I think you've got it adjusted too high. When you lean back, it's supposed to be supporting your neck.

Agreed! Try putting it in your neck crook, not on your head. But, atlas headrest told me everyone has their preference and they design their headrests to feel good in either setup!

I’ve tried both ways. Each work depending on how far back I’m leaning. If I’m fully reclining than neck is better, but if I’m sitting upright I prefer it behind my head. Thanks for the advice. 🙏

I keep thinking about getting this headrest. The problem is that I bought my chair years ago before the latest round of fabric choices, so mine is "Carbon Balance" which they don't actually sell matching headrests for. When I asked them, they suggested Black Rhythm, Charcoal Rhythm, or Black Sync, but I honestly have no idea which I'd like best or which would even match half-way decently. Its a shame I can't simply compare some samples in-person. Has anyone else had to figure this out?
