A goal from Berrío, 50 minutes into the second half, changed the whole story of a game. Atletico Nacional, who spent more than 90 minutes disqualified, secured a place in the Libertadores semi-final just six minutes before the final whistle, in extra time given by referee Daniel Fedorczuk. With the victory, the Colombian team now faces São Paulo.
After scoring the goal of the classification, Berrío provoked goalkeeper Sosa, who had fallen in previous bid that involved the two to buy time. After that, he was assaulted by the steering wheel Musto. There was also time for Rosario midfielder Lo Celso to hit Mejía and get a red card.
The game was a massacre of Atletico Nacional, who pressed all the time seeking the classification after conceding a goal in the eight minutes of the first half. Macnelly Torres, Guerra and Berrío scored the Colombian goals, and Marco Rubén scored for Rosario Central.
After the match, the Atletico Nacional players went to celebrate the victory with the crowd that filled the Atanasio Girardot stadium.
