ATN Thor 4 2.5-25x 640 First night out! Not so good!!

I was doing pretty good with my ATN 4K sighted in at 100 yards but had missed a few on the previous hunt. So I decided to try sighting in at 200 yards which resulted in a lot of over shooting. Since then I have went back to the 100 yard sight in. The Audio is off a bit but that should be fix with the update.

I thought you meant that the ATN Thor was not good. It turned out to be your shooting. 🤪 Did you even zero the scope for your rifle?

Id cut this kid some slack. And going to the range doesn’t help with hitting moving targets. It just takes time to adjust. I think it’s cool he put a vid up that is like how most of us would be the first time out. Unedited and real. Kudos to yah man.

I don't get how the Super hogster image is more clearer than an atn thor 4 684. Anyone explain this?

One thing is nucing other is focus, likely the have a better core ATN was not very forth coming with that info.

Do you use the scope to scan, or do you have a hand held unit?

Leupold tracker is good for scanning, within 500yards can't identify but picks up the heat signatures.

Did you actually zero the scope? Does it hold zero. You wouldn’t hit a barn if you were standing in it.

I tried to explain this in the comments there's a learning curve with these units as well as operator abilities. I will say there are experts out there and I am in no way claiming to be one.

You need to get this sight zeroed, you even missed the first shot when the hogs were standing still eating! you should start going to the shooting range atleast once a week for some time to practice and get better!

I really like it. Here's the deal out of six ATN devices I know of 3 have had issues and two have been sent back for repair. The two that were sent back were brand new one 4k one Thor4. My Thor4 has been prefect, my 4k has had issues that I resolved. The Thor4 that was sent back came back with the same issue and we are now waiting on a replacement of course they don't have any do to the craziness. So basically a 50% percent chance of getting a good one.

For as the thermal goes I think it pretty good for the money I can see out to 1000yds plus and ID at around 700 hogs/ deer size based on environment.

Great, witch scope you have? Little worried the 4.5 - 40x will be to strong at the 4.5, making it harder to scan a field.

Yes multiple issue but you have to learn and improve.

Good luck with getting it repaired by ATN You can try the update/restore via the Laptop. Solved issue with 4k

@@steveb7874 to be quiet honest with you, it's not That it's a hog, but this kind of shooting with no control at all where his bullets are going is totally insane! If I was him I would have been ashamed to show this to anyone, "Honestly this would never have been me"! If I knew this guy I would have went over and brought him with me to the shooting range along with a couple thousand bullets! The thing is, even if it's a hog you should be sure to kill it when you shoot! I didn't tell the shots fired in this video but let's say he fired like 50 times in total this whole video and how many hogs did he get? 3? Thats not even close to okai!
