Do you ever use sand, how resistant are they? I have the impression that not using sand will be weaker

Departing from experience, the pots that I made before all used sand and the results were all cracked, they couldn't stand the hot weather, and now I use calcium carbonate and cement, the results are very satisfying, even though my pots are exposed to heat and rain, I'm not worried about cracking anymore.

Great, but why do you use calcium carbonate with cement, just cement !

Compared to sand and cement, according to my experience, calcium and cement are more heat resistant, not easy to crack

Why use lime? Kalcium Karbonat .

coincidentally, if you use sand that is not strong enough to heat, it will crack very quickly
