I was sceptical when I saw that Pete and Steve were touring as Atomic Rooster, but this is absolutely great. Now, I wish I had seen them.

saw Atomic Rooster in 1971 and 1972----THIS version of the band is quite solid and does the fine music "justice"

A lifetime Rooster fan, When they got back together for this current band, I know it was tough going but they've kept going persevered and now are a real credit to the brand Atomic Rooster, I know John DuCann,Vincent Crane,Paul Hammond and Ric Parnell would all be very proud, fine job and kudos to French and Bolton fir making it happen, thanks for the upload👍🙏🐓

Lifeling fan here too. Saw various formats at Sunderland Locarno including Chris Farliwe, ginger Baker. Saw them the night they were supported by hardstuff what a night ! Got all on vinyl and some signed. Off to see them in 2 days cant wait.

A live version of Decision/Indecision is great. 'In Hearing Of' is the album I most often listen to.

Rooster toured in Autumn 1971 with 2 of the 4 you see here so this is the best you're going to get. Good on these guys!

Carl Palmer founded Atomic Rooster alongside Vincent Crane after they both left the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Palmer left after the first album to form ELP!

Carl Parlmer was really one lp plus few BBC. .but Hammond and Parnell really carried the weights. .

Think that is so. Who was the vocal on broken wings on the home to roost album double set . Farlowe was much later and that great guitarist Ducann sang also . The band was always great but the early material rivals most anything . Carl is seen on several vids with Vincent . The band had so much potential but sad ending . Legendary stuff and good to see band here still doing it .

I was fortunate enough to see Atomic Rooster several times, firstly with John & Paul but also other line ups including Chris Farlowe & did Ginger Baker play drums once also ? I am also fortunate enough to have Vincents autograph on many album.sleeves & John and Pauls on bolex demetia album sleeve. All from the infamous night hardstuff supported Atomic Rooster at the Sunderland Locarno. auto

A native of Manchester, Steve Bolton played rhythm guitar with The Dominators, The Phantom 4, Modrox from 1963, and lead guitar in Puzzle from 1966, Jimmy Powell and The Dimensions, The Dimensions.[1] In 1971 he was recruited into the band Atomic Rooster, part of a new line-up for a tour supporting the band's third album In Hearing of Atomic Rooster and their No. 4 charting single "The Devil's Answer". The tour was successful, and included a charity gig where the band supported The Who. The band was also recording their fourth LP Made in England which was released in 1972 with a more funky sound replacing their original progressive rock leanings. Bolton also appeared on Devil's Answer: Live on the BBC released in 1998, and on the release of In Satan's Name: The Definitive Collection.

@@SteveBoltz Good gracious! Colosseum are touring again, without Hiseman and Greenslade. The drummer is a sleeping pill, Clempson has got stiff fingers, and Farlowe can't make the high notes anymore. What I'm trying to say: Some guys can't accept the fact, that it's over. Is it so hard to let go? Maybe so ... and maybe Bolton should give Chris a ring and ask him to join the band?

They reunited with the blessing of Vincent's widow, and 2 of the men you see here were part of the band when they toured in early 1971. So definitely members left. Short of Carl Palmer rejoining, this is as close as you're gonna get to real Atomic Rooster in 2023/24.
