I like how silus is probably one of the few legionaries that directly questions caesar's leadership while deluding himself that he is still loyal to the legion, pretty cool character

Silus is one of the best side characters and probably has the most objective take on Legion under Caesar, and he is so easy to miss/skip over.

It’s fun as a female character because that’s what you wouldn’t expect to be a legion assassin. He doesn’t even question it either. He knows the legion is that devious. When you start speaking Latin he knows he’s toast.

I love how he instantly reverts back to threatening "the wrath of the legion" once he realizes it's not HIS head on the chopping block.

Fun fact: “Timeo Danaos et dona ferentes” is a historical Latin phrase usually translated as “Beware of Greeks bearing gifts”, or more accurately as “I am wary of Greeks even when they bring gifts”. This is in reference to the Trojan Horse, which is why it’s paired with the explanation of having posed as a mercenary to infiltrate the camp.

Silus has the Schrodinger's Loyalty perk--he is both loyal and disloyal to the Legion depending on whether the person he's talking to is smart or not.

Always found Silus weird. I thought the Legion made their cult soldiers out of sterner stuff, yet he's downright gutless

Listening to Silus seethe "nooo you SLIMY bastard" after revealing you've tricked him is easily one of the most satisfying moments in the whole game.

bottom one is hilarious, bro really just said "Broski Im a trojan Horse"

Everyone is chill until the courier starts speaking Latin.

Silus: WORM

For some reason Silus's dialogue has always stuck with me more than others. I'll just be sitting there taking a shit and randomly think "What an ugly little worm you are."

High intelligence IS worth it, because of funny shit like this

Silus squealing for Boyd after the Courier threatens him will never not be hilarious, a minute ago this dude was vocally fantasizing putting a slave collar on Boyd's neck and now he's calling for her like she's his mother

"all that shouting" meanwhile Silus' voice actor is reading lines half asleep

In case anyone is wondering:

Honestly Silus is the kind of character that would work pretty nicely as a companion.

i love silus's logic one line he says Caesars empire will crumble but the exact next line he says nothing can hold back the tide of the legion

This is one of those things I wish we got to see more of from the Legion.

Ironic hearing a centurion says; “For Christ’s sake.”
