Agreed. Chin rolls with three clubs while balancing 1 club on his chin. That probably looked so simple. I heard that someone, don’t remember who, said the easiest trick that looks most impressive is balancing something very long on your chin. The hardest trick that looks least impressive balancing something short on your chin.

Each individual trick he performs is something most talented jugglers would attempt multiple times for a single clip, it’s honestly fucking insane that he can pull them off in succession for a live performance.

@@katzenpfoten4330 You aren't a juggler are you? What you say here is nonsense. What @ethanbradberry5050 said is 100% true. Every trick has a probability of succeeding. Those that are highly practiced, can approach essentially 99++% of success. Some that are hard, are at 10% or less than 1%. And performing these tricks in front of an audience (as opposed to the relaxed atmosphere of one's practice pad) generally reduces your success rate by at least a half. So what Anthony Gatto is able to do here is insane. There is always a chance of a drop, even with a 3-ball cascade.

sure, 90 percent is the work, but lots of great jugglers work as hard or harder. its that 10 percent of innate ability, a perfect storm of mental and physical ability, that gives a few people like Michael Jordans, Wayne Gretskys and Jackie Chans of the world a little edge over their competition. I have several Guinness Records in hula hooping, it wasnt all hard work, a lot is gift I was born with, then its up to me to make the most of it.

but on a serious note, practice IS talent. Practice and talent are part of the unfathomable abilities of some people to excel . The ability to practice so hard IS a talent in and of itself. But I doubt you or anyone cant actually quantify how much someone has practiced, let alone know who has practiced more. Thats just plan silly. when does practice even start or end? I consider kung fu and chi gong part of my hula hoop practice but really when you live and breath something EVERYTHING is training and practice for your art.

Great to see him thriving and pushing the edge of what is possible in juggling performance.

Many people can do many of these tricks in isolation but not anywhere near the speed, precision and showmanship. Showmanship is key! Where he is phenomenal is trick to trick to trick without mistakes, under lights where visibility is greatly limited from a normal practice location. This is the best juggler that’s ever been. None are even close. If I were to ever talk to Gatto, I would ask how/IF the showmanship excelled when joining the Cirque show and if he had a trainer that gave him ways to increase his style or if he just always had this way. I saw him in Vegas and don’t remember it being quite as flashy, which is not a put down. I love the style he exhibits in the video!

The amount of time he has dedicated to juggling is just mind boggling...

The amount of skills is more mind boggling. Pretty sure you and me spend that much time juggling we won't get his skills.

@@error.418 well, he started very young... And basically, younger people tend to learn faster. So @guiyong isprobably right. I agree tho that the amount of time he has dedicated to juggling is just mind-boggling...

@@gebruikersnaamhuh It's true that time spent at a younger age is more efficient time spent, just based on brain plasticity and physical advantages, but too often people attribute to "innate skill" without recognizing that it's far more about dedicated practice. We shouldn't write them off as "just gifted" and should recognize just how much work they've put in to getting to this skill level. It's also too often an excuse to not put in the work to improve yourself because "I'll just never be as good as that naturally gifted person." Which is sad. Have fun juggling!

I don’t think anyone understands Anthony’s juggling. Being able to just casually fountain, shower, and half shower 7-9 and like it’s 3 is god tier juggling
