I just bought the A6 performance for my VW Golf. I thought this would be easy and not only does it not fit, the right side speakers aren't playing even after testing with the left side speaker wires, and the mounting kit was not in the box and it's not offered for purchase. I was happy to get it after all the research, now I'm pretty frustrated.

Same here - unfortunately. Does not fit for my Golf V and speakers do not work properly 😢

In addition, now the wifi won't connect to my phone. I toggle it on then it quickly toggles off by itself.
