Yes!! Still love all the OWL vids..honestly have rewatched a few of yours in the past months. For my favorite team, the Outlaws, it had to either be the classic 2018 squad or 2022 just because of what they did with Danteh, Lastro and Pelican that year.

Excellent choices! Am pretty big fan of that 2018 squad as well! So fun to watch especially in stage 1! Also the personalities of the team real shined, especially for the content!

@@ATPOverwatchmmhmm. While I loved seeing the teams ultimate form in 2023 of course. Something about 2018 was so fun to me. Same with 2022, despite falling short a bit, it was like a miracle playoff run to even get in the position to get close to the finals with Danteh on Winston etc.

2019/20 nostalgia hitting probably when I followed the league the closest. Those Atlanta, Philly, and Shock teams were special man and even though Florida’s 2023 team can’t be beat for me I remember tuning in almost every match in 2020 during Gangnamjin and Yaki’s time with the team. I still remember Yaki’s triple shatter on Kings Row and Jake solo casting that map going crazy 😂

I’m going with 2020 Dynasty their was massive expectations in the pre season when they got Profit, Gesture, and even Bdosin from London to make a deep run for Seoul to finally happen considering the first 2 years they missed the playoffs, and got 1st rounded. It ended up weirdly like London s1 super up and down all season they go to the stage 1 final after upsetting GZ who was the 1 seed in Asia at time and they go up 3-0 on a owl dynasty, but unfortunately they get reverse swept but was still a good run than the rest of the reg season is super up and down, than in playoffs they get a good meta for them Fits has a break out performance making his name for years to come, Profit has an s tier playoff run where he put up the most fb per 10 carrying his 3rd team to a major final, Marvel, Gesture were playing super well seemed Gesture was reinvigorated, Creative had a break out performance out of nowhere, Tobi was on his best hero. Everything clicked at the right time and they were 2 maps away from winning it all and shocking everyone no one even expected much considering the overall season where you couldn’t tell what you were gonna get from them week to week, but I was glad the London core came in and helped Seoul finally have a playoff run to be happy about after first few years the lunatic hai core would crumble in big matches.

As a Boston Uprising fan, it's definitely between S1 and S6, with S1 edging it out for me simply for the nostalgia I have for that season and the entire underdog vibe the team had. S6 Boston was really fun to watch and the team got the best results in franchise history that season, but it was also with a team that, on paper, you were already expecting good finishes from. S1 Boston shocked the entire league with how much they accomplished, being real contenders and having the first undefeated stage in league history. It's the only 2 seasons that weren't pain personified as a Boston fan.

Shanghai's Redemption is probably never gonna be repeated going from 0-42 + 2 to being the Anti Goats / Goats Killers to becoming the Kings of Apac for the next 3 years and having the most dominant Play off with only dropping 2 maps the entire run it seems only fittinig the bottom 2 teams of the League in 2018 would 4--0 in the GrandFinals and both Having Whoru

They weren’t the king of apac in 2022 Seoul was on their level overall, but I get your point as a Seoul fan that rivalry for me was always so intense I would consider Fusion/INF more of a rival to Seoul bc of the rivalry Profit had with them s1 through s6 didn’t even think s6 would be a rivalry bc they were objectively far better but still Seoul upset them in Seoul bowl twice, but in 2020 despite SHD having the better roster their was 4 tie breaker games one of those was an iconic reverse sweep, and they had multiple map 5’s in region and global playoffs. S4 sure SHD was definitely far ahead, but their was still a map 5, and s5 the kickoff clash multiple map 5’s where Seoul finally overcomes them, and joats meta where it’s a 6 mapper best game of the stage for a lot of people. You also gotta think about individual rivalries like Profit vs Fleta, and Fits vs Lip.

@@baseebird I would say at the end Seoul won #1 but overall it more Shanghai but it was more back and forth and I mean Shanghai and Seoul has the biggest rivalry in the Overwatch League with the only reverse sweep in a Grand Finals

ATP if you thought the Houston Outlaws frustrated you how do you think us Houston fans feel? My whole life every Houston team has always been mid at best except for the Astros. It's so frustrating which is what made the 2023 season so painful. Finally a chance at the ring and it went down like that. It feels almost like being cheated.

Well. Houston arguably was more talented. Just not as flexible. In a completely stable meta Houston probably would have prevailed but.. Obviously playoff metas are very micky mouse honestly. I'm not sure why Blizzard always wants to change it at the last moment. But at least Houston went out pretty much on top their last two years.

@@CrazeeAdam true but never seeing Houston being good and then they are you can't help but feel they would win. Then for it all to crash at the end is just a massive let down. I don't deny that Mayhem deserved it because obviously they were good enough to win but never seeing Houston win and then seeing them lose like that is soul crushing.

Idk if this actually would be a good video but I thought of it recently. What if..... OWL theme. I thought of it because I was thinking what if the shock from season 5 stayed together for the 6th, would they win🤷 Edit: I think you have done some sort of this but can't remember the video fully😅

2022 dynasty was obviously very good throughout season, idk I was just let down by msm tournament losing to 2 infior teams like Hz, Atl was brutal hurt more than playoffs losing to Dallas, Shock who were better in that meta. So I went with s3 Seoul bc they actually played better in bigger games than s5 Seoul but that’s also a meta thing too I get that Profit was on reaper s5 playoffs in s3 playoffs he was able to play carry hero’s.

It was a toss up for me for Dynasty between 2020/2022 2022 was definitely a better team on paper and they did very well throughout the season a 19-5 reg season record speaks for itself, and the multiple stage finals appearances. Theirs just something different about that 2020 team for me to be able to break through and overcome so much adversity from an up and down reg season where they go from getting reverse swept in a stage final, to being inconsistent after that for awhile, for Profit and Gesture lead Dynasty to the grand finals when they were heavy underdogs making their 3rd major finals in their careers, and doing it for a franchise before them who had a history of choking in big games s1, s2 they did what LH core couldn’t do, and seeing Fits, Creative make names for themselves in those playoffs as well being major factors for Seoul going into 2021, 2022 was great as well.

Call me crazy but that 2021 (may have been 2022?) Titans team i believe it was,was pretty fun and funny lol. I loved the breadsticks meme and it made Titans the loveable losers to watch. Of course i know it was hard for Titans enjoyers though.
