Automatic Transfer Switch Household isolated converter, Dual Power Automatic Transfer Switch
When the normal power ( Grid or utility ) Power supply is abnormal, the backup (Generator ) power supply will work immediately to ensure the continuity of the power supply.

You cannot interupt the MEN (Multiple Earth-Neutral) or PEN (Protective Earth-Neutral) conductors!

You are missing a timer relay device. This circuit could end up wrong, instead of going automatic it will turn out to be a manual transfer. Additionally, power cant be harvested directly from a transmission grid tower. You will need a substation to lower down the voltage and a secondary distribution line equipped with stepdown transformer. In that manner only you can connect correctly to the grid.

This diagram is accurate for this type of setup. "You are missing a timer relay device. This circuit could end up wrong, instead of going automatic it will turn out to be a manual transfer" - The ATS itself automatically switches between the primary and secondary inputs. If the primary is dead, it will switch to the secondary. If the primary is alive, it will switch back. Only if both inputs are dead, will it not function. No additional relays or timers are required. You are expected to arrange start-up of your generator/backup-supply yourself however, be it manually, or automatic. That is outside the scope of this diagram. "power cant be harvested directly from a transmission grid tower" - The electricity pylon is merely an icon to represent the power grid (as indicated by the label "Power Grid"), it is not meant to represent to where you should connect your wiring. It could as easily be an icon for a power station, it doesn't mean you're expected to run an extension cable to your closest nuclear power station. This is clear.

Where is the neutral and the ground connections? Go back to school

The neutral is shown here clearly in black, and ground is also indicated in the diagram, though none of these devices require/support a ground connection, so none is shown. If you have an old style metal chassis breaker box, or different equipment/setup, it should be grounded as appropriate, but that is outside of the scope of this diagram.

@@KingMoronProductionsActually you're wrong! The neutral and earth/ground are extremely important, especially here. Google "Beware of switched main neutral conductors" from WorkSafe Australia. The MEN or PEN cannot be interrupted!
