I also find it interesting that during the opening of ‘the rumbling’ for season 4 part 2, it ends with a titan stepping on a butterfly and tearing its wing. Butterflies symbolize time/dimension travel, and if the anime is the timeline where the curse is broken then very likely this could be a hint towards that.

Isayama said that the anime is the the improvement of his story, so it makes sense for the anime to be more polished and include different scenes, since it's a another chance to "write" the story again.

You said no one in the anime timeline has ever died from Ymir's curse, but what about Uri? Yes, he was ultimately eaten by Historia's sister (I forget her name), but he was definitely being affected by Ymir's curse and on death's doorstep, no? Though, I definitely do think there are some type of timeline shenanigans going on, and that Mikasa is somehow the linchpin / catalyst for it all

I believe its all a loop, where Ymir and Mikasa try to break the curse and live happy lives. Then, Erens original intent to have this crazy life that he was the hero or villain ruins that and so Ymir has the moment of realization and does a sorta thanos snap every thing back to her original timeline restarting the whole process

My issue with the 'interdimensional space' theory is that it does not fit at all with what the Coordinate can do. ANY Time manipulation done in the coordinate STAYS within the coordinate. Whenever Eren shows what the outside world looks like to Armin, Eren does not change the scenery, but, in his own words, transports them to the exact place where it is located in the world at an exact moment in time, NOT create a close space. Hence why in the timeline where Mikasa and Eren lived together and forsake the island, it is more of an alternate timeline, NOT a closed spaced, and Eren, being a master now of influencing memories with Eldian blood (Mikasa is half Eldian and Ackerman, which prevents her to be fully manipulated by the Founding Titan) does that to convince her to kill him, because in his mind, he thought that Mikasa's desire is not enough to satisfy his desire, so he went with Armin's vision instead.

worth to mention the tree in AOT, contains alternate timelines because its based off of norse mythology. I dont know much about this at all, but in every game I've played inspired by norse mythology, the trees contain alternate universes.

Absolutely great video! What would you think are the chances of a theory close to yours or similar happening? To be honest the timeline theory makes alot of sense. Personally I like it even if it's crazy but to be honest if it's pulled off well it really could make the series even more successful and possibly make anyone who didn't like the ending "happy"

*spoiler* I really like the idea that Mikasa controls the multiverse but I think the anime verse came after the manga, and in this version he realizes he needs to wipe out 100% not just 80% because the extra chapters showing a little version of Mikasa running towards a massive tree as bombs are being dropped is the point where her decendant restarts it. When we see erens head, he still has the titan marks and the hallucegenia just disappeared, most likely where his head is buried is the same type of tree ymir fell into.

I don't think the curse will be gone. If there is anything to do with timelines, then it just better be done in an amazing way like steins gate. Time travel shouldnt be used as a tool to win, time travel being so unknown, so complicated, would make things more difficult and turns out to be a bigger issue than it seems to be, just like how time travel caused all the issues in steins gate, it could make the issues in AOT worse off.

I love the manga but the ending felt very very empty and rushed as said by many, so I really hope if they go the same direction they do change a decent amount to make it feel satisfying and if they change it completely I just hope they nail that it even if it’s depressing, a satisfying way

The longest dream chapter is gonna be different then manga bc eren has different dream in manga then anime . - 1st chapter came in 2009 and first ep came in 2013 so don't say that its a coincidence or director choice . - but the problem with first timeline or cabin timeline is if he ran away from mikasa how he gets the attack titan . - if you read cleary every time eren dies mikasa always wanted to meet him once again she says that same line in ch 138 and ch 139 which somehow trigger new timelines

My overall issue with AOE theories is that it revolves around two things in particular to happen: 1) Eren kills all his friends and completes the rumbling because he’s edgy like that 2) Eren is the father of Historia’s child. These two things are the basis of every single theory out there which is irritating because it reduces all the characters and themes Isayama sets up so if you’re expecting any of these things to happen in the anime then that’s on you when it inevitably does not happen the most we will get is a more fleshed out ending which is what I want and expect to happen

Make it make more sense and rework the extra pages into the story. I also need the final battle with all the past Titians to be going absolutely crazy. Or perhaps we’ll get the actual original ending that the author intended. I’m pretty sure Isayama said something about how pressure from the AOT fandom made him alter his original original ending.
