@@chiragujjodi5469 If only, the epilogue about the island being bombed to ashes is the only good part about the ending. The last arch leading up to the end was really not thought through very well and is the worst thing about AoT.

I’m actually glad that Onykapon (I don’t know how to spell his name) survived. He was actually really interesting & I was bummed by the time skip. I think seeing the characters come to terms with reality would have been worth the filler.

It's not a tragedy if you have a choice. It is a tragedy when you do not have a choice, are tricked into making the wrong choice, or your choice ends in a way you did not expect. Which is why the end of AoT did not hit hard, there was always a choice and the plot kept pushing the main cast to be the generic "heroes."
