You're such a baby. I like Levi, but the movie was still good if not better without him. The only reason Levi is even in the Anime is to advance the plot faster and so they can have someone who is "good at fighting titans" which is just really convenient to the plot. In case you're stupid, the plot is when it goes from "being scared of Titans" to "fighting Titans".

+Kenman Rider Guy Do you even know how AoT was created? Hajime Isayama had the idea for attack on tian from his own life experience, he lived in a village surrounded by giant mountains and he always wondered what was on the other side, the titans were created when he saw a drunk guy in an internet cafe. He wondered how something that looks human fail to communicate with others, he didn't get inspiration from freaking radio active dinosaurs.

I first watched the live-action way back 2015 and said "oh my its so amazing." When I decided to watch the anime like 2 months ago, I was mixing up everything. And I was like "so Levi is the guy that rescued Mikasa after being bitten by a titan?" May brother was like "There no Levi in the movie" No Levi, means bad action live

In the live action, many of the action and titan scenes look off color, it doesn't give off the same feel of fast-paced adrenaline that the anime does.

@Ace Red If you look at it thay way, yes it is a good movie. They DO embrace the kaijuu aspect and the way they did it fits well with the Anime story arc. But for me it sucked hard since i only look at this as an Attack on Titan live action.

@Ace Red But, what you've got to realise, is that attack on Titan isn't a Kaiju story. It's a political war drama focusing on deep characters and political conflict between different groups and nations. The titans are merely the setting of the story, not the focus. I'm ok with change, but what's the point of change if it completely alters the core of the story? If you're gonna have essentially a completely different plot, story, themes, etc. Then just make a new franchise, rather than sucking everything that's unique about the original out, and leaving just a husk. There's a reason most AOT fans find the live actions movies to be disappointing. It's because they lack all the elements that actually make the original story unique and interesting, and just turn it into a generic Kaiju film.

@Ace Red And that's fair. people shouldn't blame the creators of the movie if they're not responsible for the way it turned out. But at the same time, they can still choose to dislike it, so long as they don't blame people who aren't responsible. On a side note, I imagine the reason Isayama chose to have the movie the way it was, is because he knew the creators wouldn't be able to resist revealing the identities of the colossal and armoured titans, and thus, he chose to change the movie's plot to avoid spoiling the manga's story.

I watched the Live Action before the Anime. I love the Post-Apocalypse movies like World War Z, Peninsula (Train To Busan) and many others including these 2 live action films. Just because I knowing there are human civilizations beyond the wall in Season 3, I can say that I rather watch the Live Actions 10x than watch a single episode in Season 4.

I came back here after hearing the news that the actor of Eren (Haruma Miura) died of suicide. The news is still shocking to me since he was the reason I got into japanese live actions and anime. All I know is he's in a happy place now. Fly high angel you'll be miss.😭💔✨

今日見てみようと思ってしばらく見てたけど5分くらいで見る気なくなってしまった なんか始まりとか一緒かなとか思ってたのに全くだしミカサがミカサじゃない気もする あとなぜエレンとミカサをキスさせたのか… もっとアニメに寄せて欲しかったなぁ… ハンジは本当に成功だと思う((w 追記 基本的に実写は許せる私が見る気なくすのは相当だと思った笑

I'm a huge Godzilla fan, and I really respect the fact that they reused an old technique that very few people use to this day. And also, I really wish more AOT fans would just see the influence in not just the films, but in the anime and manga as well, I mean it's right there! It's not that hard, people! But people are just "muh levi! rubber monsters stupid!". The films are super underrated and underappreciated.

*You. Can. Not. Make. This. Movie. Without. Good. (and I mean GOOD!) C.G. I.* Also good lighting. (The animation is bright, colorful and beautiful which brilliantly contrasts with the dark themes.) Also good set design. (Is probably dark to cover up how bad the set is, common is a germanic medieval city, get it right!) Also good A C T I N G (Always important, kids!) I could go all day.. Not even gonna start with the ODM gear shots. Complete disappointment in every level. Warner you better be taking notes, In what NOT to do, Please, This can’t be ruined for us AGAIN Please.
