Becauee we simply know too less about his family we only saw clips of his grandfather in the first 2 episode of season 1. However, there is a rumour that his parents were killed by the military police for trying to fly outside the walls with a hot air balloon.

I have an embarrassing confession and it's that for the longest time I really thought that armin was part of the royal bloodline family cause I just found similarities between him and ather members of the blood line like most of them have blond hair and blue eyes and i also thought that it was suspicious how armin's predecessors had a book about the outside world and I thought that Karl fritz wrote that book and left it as a family heritage for the royal bloodline members and to keep the secret about the walls safe

Ackerman can’t be Titans. There a family that can’t be manipulated by Ymir powers. Although in the later chapters eren did contact mikasa and Levi hmmmm. I don’t know why there memories can’t be altered. Maybe they are only somewhat effected by Ymir’s power.

They kinda do have some siblings vibes between them, but they are not really related. But Eren doesn't consider her a sister, he said that many times. World War 2 History is actually lit that's why a lot of people acknowledged it. It's like anime events turned into real life. 2020 events would appear lackluster compared to WW2. Most of isayama's story is based on mythology where the romans (or non-romans if your that kind of person) fortold stories about titans, nobles, war, nations, and added abit of post-medieval history to it. So its safe to say this anime derivatives from our real world history to this anime format. Also most anime or any storytelling has a source copy from our real world history. Its not like everything is created from thin air it has to have a origin taken from somewhere, like history books and other Historical scenes that happened long before time.

Subjects of ymir are the descendants of her 3 daughters i.e. they are direct descendants of ymir herself. Whereas royal blood are also direct descendants of ymir, example historia has royal blood from her father's side, but her mother is not royal blood that means she is mixed, if she is mixed tgen how is she royal blood? Whats the difference between non-royal blood subjects of ymir & royal blood subjects of ymir?

Ending was mid and he didn’t plan it out in advance. He has said he took inspiration from season 1 of the anime and later seasons to continue writing the story.
