Nooo. Haha In the manga you can see clearly that Eren feels guilty doing that. To be honest, I was expecting this kind of comments after watching that MAPPA did not highlight that particular gesture on Eren's face 😔. This will lead to a misunderstanding of eren's actions. But anyway. The scene was awesome!!!!

@@maricarmenlealsantos3646 his emotions in anime were same as in manga. He didn’t feel guilty, he felt lowliness, cause eren saw the future and he understand that he can’t fix it. Only time eren felt guilty and remorse when he was crying and apologizing in front of the little thief boy

@@mr.rabbit5334 ngl they should have just stayed with Kenny and his squad’s original design and just made it a bit lighter and faster to reload (of course having thunder spears still). Shotguns are much more lethal than whatever they’re using. Especially the fact that they’re moving in the air while aiming and firing they can just effortlessly fire in the direction rather than aim for precision.

Eren is everyone. He is Reiner who's also just trying to protect what's dear for him. He is Mikasa, braving any danger whether it leads him to death if it means saving those he loves. He is Gabi, his burning hatred for his enemies is what drives him. He is Erwin, sacrificing everyone and everything for the goal he set his mind into. Eren Jeager is one of the most tragic character ever made. No matter which choice he makes, people are bound to die. The cycle of hatred are bound to repeat itself again. But only if he sacrifices everything will that hatred end. But even then, the price is insanely high. So so sad.

Eren isn't fueled by hatred, and neither does he sacrifice EVERYONE, he actively chose to protect their free will for example ( eldians that is ).

Even his friends that he's protecting looks at him like he's a monster and are even planning on killing him. He's willing to be the bad guy if it means to keep them safe. That's what I meant by "sacrificing everything". By the end of this, whether he succeeds or not, if he wins his friends will hate him, if not he will be killed by them. Also, you think he's not driven by hatred. Why do you think he keeps saying he's going to keep moving forward? If it's not for the reason of exterminating his enemies and his burning hatred, then what?

Eren really has turned into Erwin, willing to be a demon, to save others from doing the same. What's even more sad, that girl, who wanted the armoured titan, she is now eren, desperate for revenge on those who took it all from her, willing to stop at nothing yo achieve her goals... the cycle, remains unbroken.

They killed his mom, they killed his friends, they ruined his hometown, they took away his childhood and any sense of joy in life for sins he has never committed. And in the end they painted him as the devil and tried to turn the entire world against him. Don't complain then, what that demon you created comes knocking on your door.

Except I don't think Eren does what he does because of all the shit the world has put him through. I think if paradise stood a chance to survive, he'd pick the more peaceful option because eren isn't spiteful anymore. He only has the option to die with everyone he cares about or to become a devil. He doesn't do what he does for revenge or hatred, he's grown up from that angry kid. I also think if he did it for revenge or karma, it'd be hypocritical to kill those that had absolutely nothing to do with paradis's attack. Like srsly so many will die for the same reason as eldians, they were unlucky to be born on the wrong side of the walls.

I love how an overarching theme in aot is what Armin said in season 1 "to rise above monsters we have to abandon our Humanity what we fight we become." I think season 4 Eren took that to heart

But that is true though. You have to become a monster to change things. Monster enough to kill an innocent child that will one day come to burn your people one day, and if you don't, the fault is yours because you didn't finish what you started. More people will die, a cycle agian.

mikasa really single handedly fought the war hammer titan there. and porco being so shocked that mere humans are coming to him, well, these people lived in fear of the titans that marley has sent to them and they're the survivors of multiple titan attacks. slaying titans is an everyday routine for them. they don't hesitate to kill to survive.

It's funny because in French he said (translated) " I'm a titan, simple humans cannot kill me... They must be, devils of paradis". Which is more impactful because he means that those guys are more than human.

Do you mean a mistranslation from me or From the French people that subtitled the episode ? Because I may have translated it wrong ( which I doubt) but nobody knows what the original Japanese version says because you know... We don't speak Japanese ;)

I love this song so much. It does such a good job of describing the emotions in the story. It starts out as cold and dark, like getting ready for a battle. The music builds and builds up tension But once it hits the main part All the tension breaks And all of the characters' intense emotions pour out Attack on titan isn't just a story about war and fighting It is a story about hatred, sorrow, despair, survival, hope, and love This piece of music is so fitting for attack on titan and I love it so much This is just how I interpret this when I hear it Thank you to those who read and God bless
