Completely true. I commented almost this same comment and was punished by YT for 24 hours and threatened if any other comments like it I’d be removed from commenting forever. So I’ve thought about why, and why some comments get by and others don’t. My belief is sugars report comments they don’t like and any comment about h/m that is reported by the sugar is immediately checked and kicked off. Sergeant Kirstie Ennis (red dress), and Sergeant First Class Elizabeth Marks (dressed in white), are also war heroes, each of whom lost a leg in combat, and received other horrendous injuries, but went on to become Paralympic athletes. Our beloved, British loyaly Royal family does not receive awards, they only present them. Im not American and find it totally disgraceful, disrespectful, and disgusting, that Harry accepted the Pat Tillman's award. Harry and Meghan Markle should be absolutely ashamed of themselves, especially after Pat Tillmam's mother had said, she didn't think it was right to give Harry the award, it must of been heartbreaking for Pat Tillman's mother. Write to your MP if you want the titles removed, as Parliament has the power to remove titles. But it will also take the agreement of every government of each Commonwealth country to agree with Parliament, according to Debretts. As for Invictus, it's totally independent of the Royal Foundation and the Royal family now. It's up to the executive board of the charity who they have as their patron.

As for removing titles, the King has no say in that. It's Parliament which does that. The king's only part in it, the RED box of Parliamentary documents he signs off on, is delivered each day, for his signature on all Acts of Parliament to make them law. Until Parliament agrees and passes the act, the King can't do a thing.

I am an American and signed the petition asking for Harry not to be given the Pat Tillman Award. Many of us think this award should go to an American military hero. Harry is none of those things. I did the only thing I could do and that was to sign the petition calling for Harry not to receive the Pat Tillman Award. It is my opinion that the Pat Tillman Award has been tarnished and cheapened. This is a small point but just so people know about how we, in America, refer to our mothers, I was born in Orlando, Fl in 1948, raised in Florida and in this area and most southern states people called our mothers, "mother" or mama". That is just to let everyone know there are differences in what we say in the different regions of the United States. My best friend, age 55, is from Wisconsin and calls her mother "mother" or "mom". This is not a big deal it's just to let everyone know there are a variety of ways we speak in America depending upon where we are from and where we live in America. 😊

The CEO of the Pat Tillma Foundation earns a six figure income. 75% of the donations go towards the employees. Only 25% goes to the Veterans. The Gary Sinese Foundation gives 100% of his proceeds to the Veterans. Gary Sinese has only a handful of employees to run his organization. I read it was only two or three employees. I commend Gary Sinese for truly helping the Veterans.

I lost my dear husband, 3 werks ago, he had some medical bills, that i didn't get the chance to submitting to the insurance company, regarding his very expensive monthly medication, although i have every right to submit the receipts now, because I purchased them for him, to sustain his life, and get reimbursed, I found myself feeling really bad and sad, i didn't want to use his name in that was again. Even though it's all legal and was purchased on credit, i just couldn't do it. It take a unique, and undesirable type of person to use a fallen husband's name to line up one's pockets and build a lucrative life style with the next partner , the legacy of an innocent man should have been respected or left alone. Very distasteful.

If it helps to think of it this way, then just equate these insurance companies as the proverbial "sharks" that will go out of their way to not pay out if they can. If you are entitled to it, claim it. You could even donate to a charity in your husbands name to do with his illness.

My Mother always said that charity begins at home. She repeated this consistently as I grew up to serve as a reminder that true charity is about humility and service, often unseen. She never hesitated to quietly point out the hypocrisy of those who sought any form of acknowledgement for their efforts. It was quite an education and is what all parents and mentors need to do.

I’ve worked at church’s for 40 years. I will tell you the ones who donated the most, I called Silent Saints. Things would get accomplished, food pantry, clothes closet, computer classes helping people to get jobs, starting a nationally accredited day care center for 72 children so parents could work, the list goes on and on and most of the time no one knew how all this was accomplished. It was accomplished because people really cared and wanted to achieve worthwhile causes. Those are the real HEROES.

I hope that people will learn to give their charitable donations locally to charities that they know and trust. The Pat Tillman Foundation, by taking 75% of donations for management have disrespected Pat Tillman and his mother and also to all the people who have donated to this charity. Lesson learned from all this is please give locally.

I totally agree with you about Simon. I was about to post a thank you to Lady C for mentioning him. He is a true hero, and a wonderful man, and has done nothing but good out of adversity. There was a documentary about him when he first came back from the Falklands, horrendous burns, and many years of painful operations to reconstruct his face. They would not allow him near a mirror for a long time. I certainly agree with Lady C, he should certainly be a Sir, if not a Lord. Mind you, politicians have certainly cheapened honours over recent years.

Good afternoon Lady Campbell. Thank you for being on point in everything. In watching the few minutes I could stomach, it was very, very clear th!at Harry, at least, was terrified. There has been some comments on whether or not the boos could be heard over whatever applause sounds that were played to cover any negative reactions. It truly was disgraceful the way Harry had those veterans stand on stage in that humilatingly servile posture as Harry droned on. At the end Harry and Megan compounded everything by having the crass bad manners to walk out after receiving the award and thereby causing huge confusion by the stage and disrupting the program. The speech itself was soo insulting to Pat Tillman's mother. Appaling!

Lady C if I remember correctly the Queen stripped Harry of some of the patches that were on his uniform. If I remember he also pitched a fit before his grandmother’s funeral because he wanted to wear the uniform and then pitched a second tantrum because he wanted the patches put back on his uniform but was told no. He lost the right to wear those patches.

He WAS recipient of Pat Tilman award 2017. Presented by Jon Stewart... now who organised that? Worthy, i would think.. But now i wonder the intricate financial undercurrent/obscure rules. All this talk about H paying for this award... How does a recipient like Isreal del Toro then fit in into that side of this award. I read in a house-mag that he was discharged on disability but also CHOSE to re-enlist. I salute him for that. But whaaaat? Did jon stewart tax break /donation/various ngo's money pass onto to Isreal to him/his personal capacity or did it syphon through to other Org's he supports... Eg invictus?. If it goes to vets i applaud it... But it's the rinsing through to float these topheavy/trust-Nepo offices with the charitable "fundraising event budgets" that turn my stomach...very little ACTUAL work done for the beneficiaries. I perused the PT Foundation to find ex service personnel.... It took some doing amongst illustrious financiers/lawyers/professional charity org strategists" Gov's /public services fail to deliver, no budgets or simply corrupt and/or inefficient and then Gov's "outsource" it /socalled public private partnerships... See where this goes??? Remember the WE charity (canadian based).... What answers did the expensive Commission of Investigation give??? Dear H was ALL into it... Quoting his Pa... Lecturing us all to DO our part!?!! Maybe, talking to affluent, lazy kids or shame, the ones that know they had better score social credit point, by funding charity a gap-year project... To get on CV for Uni entrance or job! Ruthless work.
