@@Maelodas note that they were gun owners and knife wielders.."stand your ground" wasn't exactly a problem for them. Also...remember that they spent a great deal of time abroad...most of thier money funneled into funding Evie's research. having a large standing support staff when they JUST GOT BACK would be a bit silly. there was probably a groundskeeper who, if he was lucky, stayed home that night and did not encounter the armed assasins on the grounds.

Not really. The first two Stephen Sommers Mummy movies were great, but the third one...which he didn't direct, wasn't. I didn't much care for Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.

I remember when this released when I was a kid. The press releases on day time tv or the news. The tie in merchandise and competitions on crisp packets in my lunch at school. Skipping bits on the dvd because it scared me shitless. It’s 21 years old now…..😭

no lie, at 0:58, I pulled off that knife trick but with a those plastic rocket toys that launch with a rubber band. I asked my nephew to "let me see it" but he heard "fire at me". Legit caught it at the nose and returned it to him saying, "I said 'let me see it', not 'try to hit me'".

Is it ok to bully that person when we have forcefully occupied their own house without his permission and we are committing violence on the owners and members itself. O'Connell is gentle man that he is dealing thiefs nicely. Eve's approach is best "Get out of my house"

Oconnell is a badass don’t forget that, he walks into an unwinnable situation and knows it from experience. So he improvises until the situation deteriorates and then he acts. Perhaps the younger oconnell would have impulsively attacked and utilized stealth but now he is older, a family man and his family is threatened. Having a family oriented mans family under threat always defangs them no matter how vicious they may be otherwise, taking them away from them however gives them more resolve than before humanly possible. That’s my interpretation atleast
