The Hammer is a massive drop in the Coler Preserve in Bentonville. It's bigger than anything I've ever hit and I'm pretty nervous about it! This is a story of how I conquered my fears!
Did Yuka send the drop? She tells the story here: • How to Send a 10ft Drop!

This was my thinking as well. Everything in Bentonville is built so well. I have a 134/140 bike and never bottomed out anywhere in Bentonville. Drop the Hammer, as well as everything else, was made perfectly to meet your bike so smoothly. Love your vids, btw.

@@benwigginsbikes ...It's about 12 where your rear wheel touches down, but the thing that gets everyone is the mind trip with how far down the bottom of the transition is. What you see leading up to the end of the drop, is a good 30 feet below you.

@@willbros1499 so true! It is a serious sightline mind game. I was out there on a Tuesday and was dying to follow someone into the wooden "warm-up drop" to the right of Hammer (if you are standing on the drop). I spent 6 days around Bentonville last October and loved everything about it.

Well done mate. No better feeling than conquering an obstacle that has you nervous. Only today I hit 2 big jumps that I have been avoiding for weeks. Kudos for not being worried to admit your nerves. Anyone who says they don't get nervous before trying something outside their comfort zone is a liar.

I took a look at this drop in-person yesterday for the first time and thought no chance…but after watching your video last night i went back today and worked my way up from the 2nd one up to the big one. Two other riders saw me eyeing the second one up and offered to tow me in on all three. Couldn’t have done it without their help and your video. The steps in your video were extremely helpful and i’m so excited that i was able to drop the hammer today! A lot of the same “what if” scenarios play out in my head as well.
