'Ever since completing the loop back in 2016, I had the idea to cut the top off to do an open loop.'

Bob burnquist did the loop with a gap on a skateboard over a decade ago, then they put a rail across the gap and he grinded it upside down! The gap was definitely not as big as this one tho.
