8-Bit Video Game Themes. Back then, they were just video game themes (wow, who would have guessed though, am I right). They were short and sharp, kind of like...a short pencil. But just like a short pencil, they had potential to create amazing things (with limitations). And so they did. Now what would it be like if one was to create an 8-bit video game theme in I don't know...10 minutes? You'd probably get garbage. But instead of imagining, you can witness it all right here in my little trash garden. Check it out! This is "Attempting to Make an 8-bit Video Game Theme in 10 Minutes". I hope you enjoy!

I feel like this needs to be said here more than anywhere else. What happened recently in New Zealand is tragic and heartbreaking. My heart goes out to all the victims and their loved ones. No one could have predicted that something like this would happen. I'm truly sorry if the joke in the video only brings people down now. I hope that none of you had to be a part of this. I can see how it’d be tricky on this channel, because I’ve been joking around with megalovania recently (however, I never try to include parts or tributes to other songs in my own originals. I want it all to come from me), but yeah as you said, it’s an incredibly common rhythm progression that’s used everywhere. Many songs and bands did it before megalovania

Actually if used properly a 8 bit sounds Chip can do slot more then that for instance the sid Chip in a commodore 64 has only three voices but some in-game music had over 9 tracks they did this by constantly switching what instrument each voice was playing so that to the human brain it sounds like all the instruments are playing constantly
