Attenborough and the Giant Sea Monster, the moment I found the snout.

7 ай бұрынMy discovery of the pliosaur snout that lead to the BBC1 documentary: "Attenborough and the Giant Sea Monster". I discovered it on 5th April 2022. I was able to locate it`s position by photographing multiple sections of the cliff. This then lead to the excavation by my friend: Steve Etches and his team.

It was such a shame they didn't give you more recognition for the find in the BBC programme or anywhere else for that matter. I signed the petition by the way and I do hope you someday get the thanks you deserve! Great find 👏

Amazing. Fascinating to hear and see your reactions and hear your though preprocesses out loud. What happens regarding ownership? - as it was loose and tumbling presumably it's yours technically. I hope you got market value for it from the museum ?
