I am still so confused. Are Attila serious, ironic or post-ironic? I think they are post-ironic. It is kinda like they are making fun of their image in a lot of their stuff but at the same time they kind of are legitimately chavs. Confuses the hell out of me. Ah well, still fun to listen to. Not every band has to be ultra serious all the time :P

They blow, to be clear, sarcasm aside. The only emotion they can forward through music is that of (I know it's been said before) a dramatic 12-year-old, recently hitting puberty. Progression is non-existent, timing is stereotypical for the genre, as are the vocals and overall sound... IF they were doing this ironically, sarcastically, or even comically, surely they would display true, core talent SOMEWHERE, but they don't. One can only conclude this is genuinely who they want to be, and any other excuse for trash is a simple crutch.

People are complaining about their lyrics being "generic" and their sound being "the same". I can tell you that's full out bullshit right there. How? First off, their sound is completely different from any other partycore/deathcore band out there. I've never heard anyone else sound like Attila...ever! In my opinion, they sound like they mixed 'Rage' with 'About That Life'. Second, their lyrics kick ass. Yeah they still say shit about their haters and all, but that's because they're not here to cry about life, complain about shit, and etc. They're a partycore band for gods sake people! They're here to get you jumping and to make your heart race! You wanna go listen to legitimate "generic" shit? Take a few minutes to listen to Sleeping With Sirens or someshit. Moral of the story, stop expecting something you KNOW you won't get. I fucking love Attila's new sound! I also appreciate the differentiation they have through all their albums and I hope they continue doing so.

The thing about Attila that makes them so important to me is that they're not constantly making songs to help you, it's party music to me. It's music I go to warped tour to see, they're probably my favorite band. Dying to see them live again and meet them. All in all, Attila is a pretty rad band.

Why do you take the lyrics so seriously? I've never understood this. The music (guitars, bass & drums) is sick, his voice is also sick. He could honestly be singing about shoving dandelions up his arse and it wouldn't make a difference to me. If it makes me feel emotion just from listening to the instruments, I know it's good.
