I think everyone is compeltely missing the point. The winner of BGT performs directly for the Queen. Based on just that alone, this performance makes 100% sense. On top of that, there were alot of people upset with the fact that Attraction isn't an act from Britain. To pay tribute to their host country was a very great show of respect towards the British people. I'm America, and I thought this was amazing. Granted, I do know alot about British history in general because I'm I'm a huge nerd, so I was able to recognize the significance of the images they portrayed. Maybe that's where people are missing the point. You don't seem to understand the respect shown here.

The great performances are not just the touching ones... In fact they had to do something diferent in the final, showing they can tell diferent kind of stories or even real histories. And I think this one was the hardest performance technically. They were the most amazing this year, worked from the sunrise to the end of the night and deserved to win.

Guys. Either way this performance, British or not, was incredible! I'm not British I'm australian and I still loved it just as much as their other performances! So stop complaining about how it didn't speak to you, the shadow talent they have is still incredible! If the story didn't touch you, focus on the talent and the skill instead of complaining about the story! Okay? Alright. Bye.

COME ON PEOPLE. I am American, so obviously I did not feel anything from this performance. But this was never intended to appeal to Americans, it was intended to appeal to the British people and their pride for their country. Think about their performance from the British perspective, or imagine it was pandering towards your country instead. I am sure you would feel pride and patriotism. So please, stop commenting on how boring it was if you are not from the country they are appealing to. Thank you.

I dont know why you did not feel anything. Im neither British nor American but this act was very emotinally appealing. Especially an American should feel this act, in keeping with the historic bonds to Britain and the common fight in WW2. Winston Churchill is epic in his own right and british patriotic music is amazing too.

No matter how many times I watch the first two performances I cry like a baby. I was kinda glad for the different type. I was kinda glad I didn't need a tissue box. It shows their diversity. I like how it honors the country that hosts the show and that allowed a Hungarian team perform on a show that many would think should only have Brits performing in it. Over all I am glad they won.

not at all - the first two acts were breath taking, and no matter how many times I watch them, I always cry.... Very emotional. The third is shit. I'm very English, descended from over 300 years of English ancestry, and happy to say they should not have ran with this one at all. They got in for fluidity, grace, and above all, for capturing people's imagination. I felt every moment of the first two concepts, ripped my heart out when the soldier died, and the little girl placed a flower on his grave... Killed me. But to have just a silhouette of Churchill, and random British themes just felt cheap and tacky, as if they were attempting to play to our strength as a nation, instead of our compassion as humans. Attraction should have won if they had have kept to what they were best at. I still love them however, just this one was nowhere near their previous level of performance.

Adjudicator Tempest They needed to break up the "routine" established by the previous 2 performances, and this was a very strategic move on their part, especially given some of the talk from the usual folks about how "people who are not British should not be allowed to compete, much less win, BGT." This was clearly an attempt to mitigate that type of 'rah rah patriotism' sentiments among the BGT voters. But totally agree with you the previous 2 performances far, far outstrip this one.

Oh wow for people who are saying they did this to kiss up to the British, well, I think you're being ridiculous. If you have never performed overseas before you wouldn't understand. Being in a new place and performing in front of so many people with your chances being lower than the locals from the start (admit it people, we'd all at least unconsciously support our own country before anything else until we actually see the actual performance) is beyond nerve-wrecking. If you mess up the first performance, no matter how well you do afterwards, you're pretty much sunk. The team was thanking the public for that support and the judges for letting them through to the finals. And besides, they didn't need to kiss up to them to get this far, why would they do so now?

The winner of BGT performs directly for the Queen. Based on that alone, the act by 'Attraction' makes sense. The unique and amazing dance group paid tribute to their host country, who gave them an opportunity to showcase their talents. They displayed a great show of respect for the British people, with grace and humility. I am a Canadian, with many British family and friends, who reacted in a positive way to my share of the first audition and semi-final act by 'Attraction' on Facebook. This is a heart touching story because the images portray immense respect for the late Queen Elizabeth the Second. This valued tribute will live on "In Posterity" for the beloved Queen of England 🇬🇧👑❤️. With respect from Ontario, Canada 🫶

Kourtney Harding I think you misunderstood what John Joshua was saying. He is saying that others shouldn't bash the performance because it was obviously geared toward a British perspective since it was on Britain's Got Talent. He clearly says "So please stop bashing them :) love from Philippines :))" in his last sentence. He is not hating, he is being supportive even though it's not his personal cup of tea.

John Joshua During World War II, when the Japanese invaded your island, raped your women (mothers, daughters), killed countless innocent people, it may have been the Americans who came to save you, but without Great Britain, Europe would have fallen to the Nazis. Sooner or later, if the Japanese hadn't been so stupid to attack Pearl Harbor, once Japan and Germany won the war, they would have come for America. The point is Britain is the reason why you're able to sit in front of that computer, posting stupid shit like that. Learn your flipn' history.

Talent coupled with wisdom. They knew that to win, they needed not only to appeal to the judges' minds but to their emotions as well. The pride for country was just the best choice, acknowledging that my country is great and honouring me in that way will most definitely impair my judgement. I'll definitely be biased towards you just because you've appealed to my sense of pride. That's being smart! That's how they won!

We, as British people, are constantly being brow-beaten into a belief that somehow our history is embarrassing. Young people these days are not told that the Agrarian Revolution and the Industrial Revolution started in Britain. That while the rest of Europe was painting pictures on ceilings, our ancestors were modernising the world. That when religious minorities were being persecuted in mainland Europe, we welcomed them to our shores. That Britain stood out as a beacon of hope against the fascism that infested Europe from the Inquisition to Napolean to Kaiser Wilhelm, Hitler, Stalin, and Milsovic, to name but a few. And that we shouldn't feel good that we were the only European country during WW II to not give up. The problem is not that these marvellous young people from Hungary 'sucked up' to us by putting on a show about our finest hour. The real problem is that no young British people would have done the same because they would have been accused of jingoism, racism, nationalism, anti-Europeanism; in fact every 'ism' in the book. It is embarrassing to be British. Not because of our past, but because of our present.

Idk about your people, but I prob learn a lot how "the sun never set on the land of British Empire" Yep, I also know that the industrial rev started in England and that is where our world start to modernize.... Seriously, King Arthur, Camelot, Robin Hood, Beowuf, Charles Darwin.... Idk what could make u guys feel your history is embarrassing.... :\ And the present? It is fk up everywhere, not just Britain man....

To be honest, I didn't really think much about what I wrote. However, I'm happy to see that you guys basically agree with me. shiningyrlife I learnt all about what you did (I'm 50), but they don't teach that stuff anymore. Anything about the Empire, if it is taught, is that it was something we should be ashamed of. avi spielberg Bless you for saying so. Unbelievably there are people in Britain who think Churchill was a war criminal, rather than one of our greatest leaders. Oh and I support what Israel is doin at the moment, but could you mention to the people in charge that bombing hospitals and schools is just plain wrong, even if it's by accident or that the awful Hamas cowards are hiding in those places. Kasia Skyler What a shame that there are teachers saying silly things like that. Most of our greatest institutions, Marks and Spencers, Tescos, Trusthouse Forte to name but a few, were all started by immigrants. Megan Leigh Quite. Strange that you're being taught about the Roman Empire, an empire that gave so much to the world, and you're not being taught about the British Empire, that gave even more to the world. Yes, the Brit Empire did a lot of horrible things, as did the Roman Empire. However, it is accepted that that was the way things were (slavery, gun boat diplomacy, bribery and corruption which all empires did by the way, etc, etc) was just the way things were in those days. Remember that while Britain certainly was responsible for a great deal of the slave trade, she was also a world leader in getting rid of it. Pity no one remembers that.

About Israel- Hamas was elected in a 100% democratic elections with absorbers from the un. Moreover, Abu Mazen, the less fanatic ruler in the east bank, doesnt allow elections because ooles show hamas has a majority there too (and the less fanatic one is from fatah. Not hamas.) So even the cevilians are not just poor people captured by hamas and ita terror. Bombing of schools (except the last one that was Onra's and was an unfortunate mistake) take place only after 100% certainty they arw used for terror and after letting ev erryone know they should stay away from the building because it is about to be bombed. A hospital was yet never to be bpmbed although hamas uses thos fact and hide their lidderahip and weapons under hospitals. Such military acts like the curent one, take place after massive bombardation of Israeli cities. As rediculouse as it sounds, Israeli cities suffer from light bombardation all the time and no significant actions are taken. Now let me ask you a question. What would you expect your goverent to do with a country that supports and ellects its terror goverent, believe your country has no right to exist and allows its terrorists to hide among cevilians and hide and operate from beneith hospitals. Would you support excepting terror and bomvarding of your country? The goal of israelies is to secure their statea existance. Thw goal of palestinians is to eliminate the state of israel. They have no threat on their own existance. These goals are expressed publicly. I'm sure any other country would pay much less attentions and avoid much less necessary acts because of fear for cevilian lives. Honestly- I wish my country would put my safety before the safety of terror supporters and make sure no one bombards me no metter what it takes.

Seriously, Jack didn't come close to these guys. They were creative, amazing, inventive and invested in their act. When I saw there audition I knew they'd be a special act but only after seeing their semi final and this performance I knew straight away they were contenders for the win.

This performance was good as well but I just didn't feel the emotion, maybe because I'm not British... Don't get me wrong, they were spectacular. It's just I found the story about the cycle of life really moving cos almost everyone could relate. But I really admire how they paid respect to Britain during their final round. Applause worthy
