Hey !
Here is the second part to my camping video I did for Canada Day/ 4th of July. I do a quick recap of Pt1 (video lower down in the description). We wake up early to a beautiful morning, make a great Breakfast sandwich, pack up and hit the trail. Stopping to fill up our gas then going to see Crooked Creek Falls and Look-Off. After that we trail ride back to the truck in Hillsborough. All in all it was a great time, and ended up travelling 104km (65miles) on some amazing trails.
If you liked the video give it a Thumbs Up, Leave me a comment and please subscribe, it really helps my channel grow. Also feel free to share my videos in your local ATV Club Facebook Pages.
-- If you'd like to sponsor a video or possibly have something shown in a video please contact me through my email provided, or through Instagram/Facebook messenger.
Thank You. #atvcamping

Man that breakfast looked awesome man. I so agree with you, if someone is nice enough to let you pass through their property, then people should pick up after themselves. Not just on private land but on any land. We had an awesome canyon ride closed down in New Mexico because the property owners got tired of dealing with disrespectful people. That’s another thing, people need to put out a campfire properly, water water water 💦! Good video man.

9:43 - You should look into Rotopax. They are mountable gasoline jerry cans (they also make them for diesel, water, first aid kit, and just general storage). They are considerably more expensive than just a normal jerry can, but they are thicker, and more secure than just having a jerry can strapped on with a bungie cord.

Hey Maritimer Great video first up, It's good to see people riding these the way there are meant to. I do have a few questions for you if you don't mind. Are you able to tell me if ATV's are road legal in your area? If so what are the laws around there use? Where could I find this information officially? Where abouts are you located? Sorry for all the questions, I am currently trying to get theses road legal for Australia, as, at the moment we can only use them on private property, we can not use them on the tracks like you can, as these are deemed public roads. Kind regards Ian
@Maritimer
@Maritimer 2 ай бұрын
Hey man ! thanks so much ! The short answer is NO they are not road legal.... saying that, there are some smaller towns that allow ATV's in certain routes through the town so they can access gas, hotel, grocery. (I have a video riding through Sussex on my ATV with Wendell on the front, traffic lights and everything) To ride your ATV off private property you need to have it registered & insured. And to ride on ATV club managed trails you need a trail pass. We have 3 season or 4 season trail passes.... 3 season would be spring/summer/fall and 4 season would include winter riding on groomed trails. The only law when riding on the street is you need to obey traffic laws and use hand signals for turning. I'm located in New Brunswick, Canada. But it's pretty much the same across Canada. I hope that helps ya ! Cheers !

I'm not too sure what the speed limit is, probably 15km/hr but I always go under. to be honest I'm not even sure I was allowed to ride down to the gas station... but in small places like that the Police don't usually bother ya if you are acting responsibly & your machine is registered, Insured and have a trail pass. Nah man a little constructive criticism wont bother me, I appreciate it. What do you mean the video was "e" ? you didn't like the beginning? like the camp part of the video? or you like the riding part the best? @Maritimer
@Maritimer 3 жыл бұрын
Hey man, the gate is right on the Crooked creek Rd/Sled trail #864. Just down from the look-off you can drive to by car. Some SXS's can't fit through the gate. So if you have a wide SXS, you would have to go all the way around, up Canada Hill and then down to Crooked Creek. I haven't been that way in a long time though. I hope that helps ! Remember the gate and land there is privet property so keep that in mind, Also driving through the river comes with a hefty fine if your caught by DNR. So keep that in mind if your making a video or if your out on a Saturday (it's usually busy) there is more chance they would be out on the trails.
