Haha, its been a while since I've made an animatic of TOH so apologies if it's looking a bit rough on the edge 😅.

For those wondering who these characters are, they are earlier designs of Luz and Amity or better known as Beta Luz and Amity.
.
Just for context, Boscha is "Nate" in this situation however, you can interpret Boscha's and Amity's relationship as ex-friends or something
The overall gist of this is that Boscha and Luz got into some huge fight about stuff and for some reason, Amity took Boscha's side (maybe thinking that's she protecting Luz so Boscha doesn't go after her out of pettiness) . Luz got upset by that and now it leads to this video :]

Seeing Casey and Izzie's relationship in the show atypical is kinda similar to beta lumity's relationship,i can see the resemblance here, great job on animating this by the way, it's so *CUTE* (≧▽≦)

This was absolutely beautiful; the animation was so smooth, the drama was so intriguing; not to mention the Eda coming as soon as Luz and Amity was about to kiss, which was hilarious.

I love your pacing and how you animate body language - it just seems so more lifelike and the amount of effort really shows! The combination of angles/perspective and panning looks so good and your art style is so consistent I don’t know how you do it. And to make things more movie-like, the camera holding editing looks so good. Ngl I almost choked on my spit when Eda came in LMAO So good 11/10

2:00-2:19 THIS! RIGHT HERE, IS ABSOLUTE MAGIC The way they so loving look at each other as they laugh and the look they had when they both realize simultaneously that they want to kiss each other, the longing glances on their lips and the rising tension and slight hesitation, they're eyes closing, almost preparing themselves for the kiss. This soft moment they are having together. It almost feels like us the viewers are intruding in this touching moment between this couple. EllowMello I have no idea how you keep doing this in every animatic you make! the design and the choice of scene and music is just so perfect for them in every video.

Yeah it felt like if we was watching a TV series of something idk but yee it was cool animation with how two real people and real emotions looked like they felt like they knew they lied and love each other of dying to kiss each other but doing step by step makes it be a good stable friendship/relationship with them both and yee that's cool

Started watching atypical after seeing this on your insta. I freaking love the show soo much, binged it within 3 days holy crap. Especially as someone who's Bi and is in the spectrum, this show just speaks to me in soo many ways. This is very underrated like extremely underrated. You have a great art style and the characters look super accurate, i also like the audio you chose for the animatic. I love the animatic+animation type. The perspectives are pretty decent too 👌 Keep on posting amazing videos like this 😗👍

This was amazing. I love how you always manage to express their emotions and body language so dang well with these. I might even just make a fanfic based off of this (with credit to you too duh for inspiration) because honestly this dynamic of lumity is so great. I can’t wait for if/when you make more. Also props for the animation at the end, it was really detailed. P.S: I freaking love the little flick thing at the front you always do with amity’s hair.
