Great upload Auchandarroch. The clip of a band starting to go off in two directions, Kirk was gaining more success as Sweet Exorcist and solo projects. Mallinder fresh from Love Galaxy project , the band released kind of ,more of the same. A lot of similar sounding records around at this time , mostly on indiependent and dj white labels. So Cabs music of the time was easily to access through distribution, some of the tracks from the period work in remixed form. Maybe it gained them an audience who would discover their earlier ground breaking works.

Sure the ecstasy, house, and and baggy Madchester scene had heavily influenced both the pop and the underground UK cultures in 1990 but I still did not expect CV to lean so bubblegum. Still glad the footage survived. Seems like it was one of those periods of time you had to be there to fully understand.

@@gloryinfinita5380 Cabs were progressing this way back in late 86. Way before the nonsense of Madchester and rave.
