Auction Hunters is probably the only storage bidding show that has some truth to it. They buy hundreds of storage units each year but only the rarest finds make it to the show.

Is that the case, filming costs a lot, they need to set thing up to make it worth it, it's a TV show after all and they can't shoot hours and hours or video if they don't find anything interesting.

Missing t tops? No problem maybe 300$ Back window? Probably rolled down Early gen 3 cars did that. If its a 427 that 10k there. 68 had different offset wheels than the 69 or newer models. 10.5k is a great buy for this car.

These auction shows are 75% staged. How do you sell a car with no title? Generally speaking the storage shed company would have to go thru the process of getting a mechanic's lien and obtain clear title before they can legally auction the car. If they don't and turns out to be stolen or missing, there are a host of legal issues that will apply. Think about the possible reasons a person would abandon a car like that in a storage shed to begin with.

I've never went to a Storage War or Storage Auction where there was a car in it...Maybe it's different where ever these people are at..but here in Virginia...no matter what is in the Storage unit..the owners of the Storage Units can't allow the Bid to go any higher than what the Person was behind on it? Example..if the person was paying 50 dollars a month rent...and they were 3 months behind..they can't auction the Unit for more than 150.00.
