I'm a fan of Brandon, but i disagree with this review. When a watch is too thick, has excessive lug to lug, and over priced... It shouldn't get a pass. If this was another brand, i guarantee it would have been a much harsher video. At the end of the day, AP is embarrassing considering their history/brand heritage.. between movement issues, silly recent releases, and lack of availability with the few desirable models, they don't belong in the trinity.

Hodinkee is just a glorified advertising firm now. Come on.

the message I received from the brief hip-hop overview in the video (by the way, pharrell is a pop artist, "Happyyyyyyyyyy" ain't hip-hop, folks) is that "rappers" are not trendsetters, they simply follow what's popular. Be a real trendsetter/innovator like AP! What an iconic design these watches have

I like these watches. The stainless steel version is the Audemars Piguet entry level watch at £16.9K circa 2019 in Watches of Switzerland here in Manchester, UK who are an Authorized Dealer. Of this model came out on 2019 it omits all the upgrades and new tool free straps that was introduced across the Offshore in 2022, the 50th Anniversaries of the Royal Oak. As Malaika from Hodinkee said, who hosted the AP podcast in March or April this year: 1993 - 2023 is 30 years and they introduced about 4 new models. She interviewed the outgoing CEO and the heritage director. She never responds to comments on her socials so I unfollowed her.

This watch is so massive and uncomfortable that I would rather wear a smaller watch such as a similar Genta designed Tissot PRX.
