I enjoyed your video my man! I currently run the audeze penrose and can not wait to save up enough money to buy the maxwell! Thought I was going to have enough when we got our taxes but adult bs stopped me just short of making a terrible financial decision lol. Was surprised by how much you Raved about the footsteps in the video that’s the first time I’ve heard someone say that about the maxwell. After a year I have finally created a eq setting that made the Penrose very accurate in apex legends and it will just have Get me by until I can by the Maxwell.

I don’t really see how this headband adjustment mechanism is cumbersome. You pop it off the studs, and pop it back onto the studs. This adjustment only needs to be made once, assuming you aren’t regularly sharing your headphones with people, so in my opinion, it’s far better to have a “set it and forget it” method of adjustment rather than a telescoping headband which often adjust on their own or through normal handling. Also, if you ever pack your headphones into a case for travel, this strap solution allows you to avoid having to size and resize your headphones to fit into the case and then adjust again when you want to wear them. I think it’s a simple, yet highly effective solution. One of my biggest gripes about headphones I’ve owned in the past has been their tendency to never stay sized properly, due to how easy it to adjust them by accident. Aside from being able to order a pair of headphones custom fitted for your exact dimensions, I really can’t think of a better method than this.

the EQ presets fix all those “issues” with music. there’s an eq already on android, pc and ios is coming out soon

Can you do another update review on the audeze maxwell please. Including Eq now available on android. Have you managed to find a perfect eq for footsteps? Battery life and what to expect if you start to the 80ba for 80 plus hours. What 80ba actually sounds like in real life. Comfort, extended use with weight of headset. Etc... Many thanks

I want to know how the latency of the side tone is. I would like to be able to hear myself and whats around me but I have found that most implementations of side tone have a small delay thats reallt distracting and makes it hard to talk.

Did you use the Dolby Access/Atmos @ 24bit - 96khz? I mean, using the music with one of the EQs.. or just use the Audeze software with thie EQs?

Interested to hear if you can bring the mids up a bit in the eq to compensate for the V shape ? - also any chance you had an opinion on the sound changes when playing wired (just out of curiosity)

Heavy and no dual Bluetooth is a no from me. I got the turtle beach stealth pro and love it. I’ll get a better version of this in the future when they make it

Am I crazy or did you keep plugging in the mic to the wrong place. Pretty sure that is where you are supposed to plug in the 3mm plug.

I know this has been posted a while back, but I was wondering, since you also wear glasses, if the Maxwell continued to be comfortable throughout. Since I wear glasses as well, I'm always a bit worried when putting down the money for new headsets.

These EQ very well. For wireless listening, whether for music or gaming, there’s nothing better. In fact, for wired gaming at this price point, it’s still right up there in my opinion.

As someone that has Xbox, PS and Switch I’m very curious if anyone that has the Xbox version can confirm if they also work with PS and Switch.

I really wanted to like them. There are lots of cases with unreliability with these. Mine had constant disconnects on ps 5 and then after 2 weeks stopped working on the right side. There is also the app which is complete garbage. I returned mine and went with steel series Nova pro wireless. I really wish they were more reliable but after reading about others having the same issues as me I decided to just get my money back and not get a replacement

Does it have noise cancelling for the ear speakers (not the microphone)?

you said that these have a really good transparency mode, even though they don't have ANC. what did you mean by that? the reason why i'm asking this because i'm looking for a pair of headphones that would let me hear outside noise, especially if my wife calls for me, or something like that. i could't find any conclusive answer about this. How do you feel about Dolby Atmos on it?

I recently got this headset and have been using primarily on my PS5 but to me all the presets sound the same when I switch them. From Audeze preset to Immersive to footsteps they all sound the same and nothing changes audio wise I have updated my headset as well to the latest software. Is this common issue?

I am Korean. Please understand even if my English is not good enough because I use a translator I received a Maxwell, but when I start using it, it keeps turning off in less than 3 minutes The battery is 91% It keeps turning off regardless of the connection Is there a solution?

If this style of head band adjustment is too "cumbersome" for you... I would advise that you go outside and work with your hands more. Engage and interact with the physical world a little more.

B shaped is really not a good description for the frequency response of this set. Has even less bass and treble than Harman and mids are definitely not recessed. That’s why it’s hard to trust online reviews

I bought the maxwell a few months ago and Its lost its luster for me. My main complaint with the Maxwell and honestly its dealbreaker is that everytime i go to use my headset i jizz my pants. I've ruined every pair of pants I own and its all Audeze's fault.

Heat buildup is probably the biggest cons on any headphones. 0 point of getting headphones if you physically cannot stand to wear it. 😂
