I'm super excited to announce this video series. I will be doing a full tear down & rebuild of a supercharged Audi 3.0T engine, and then swapping it into my car. I'm hoping to be able to do some special things with this for you guys.
I am planning on filming every step of the process for you guys as there isn't a comprehensive guide on KZfaq for this. I am really excited about getting this series under way.

Actually, what he's doing is what all 3.0T supercharged engine owners should have - another 3.0T supercharged engine as a spare. That's right. Spark plugs, air filters and brakes are insufficient to keep on hand. Best to have a whole replacement engine at the ready. :D

Replacing my engine mounts on my 12’ premium a6. Would you suggest to replace with oem mounts from fcp or the 034 mount kit?

Definitely go with a solid mount like 034

I have a question: in the upper timing chains with all cams in the correct position (dot and window in the head), I can count 18 chain pins from top to top between the cams sprokets on one side, in the other side I can count 19... what am I doing wrong?

@@AudiC7Owners that's fine thanks. When placing the crankshaft pin make sure it doesn't rotate, it's a tight fit

Dude serious question I have a 202 Audi a7 I’m In nj I can’t afford the rebuild but I’m being sold a 3.0 from a 2011 a6&and a2013 s5 Are they any difference in the a6 ,s5 or a7 ? Is it just a a matter of utilizing the a7 harness and al The sensors from original?

You need the 2013 engine. The 2011 & earlier engines don't have all the sensors tire oem engine does. It isn't impossible though. Message @audi3point0work for details on swapping in an early b8 engine.
