The FCP video I watched they said it but didn't show it. I missed that very important bit of information and had to take off my supercharger again. Which was not that difficult or time consuming to do.

Greetings from England, this video saved me. Had some work done and had intake fault codes pop up on both sides. I forwarded the video to mechanic, problem solved.👍👍

Thanks for the video! I had the exact same issue on my 3.0T powered Audi SQ5. I was able to correct the flap issue just by taking it apart and diagnosing the issue before stumbling upon your video. I have since corrected the mechanical flap install issue. However I am now still getting the fault codes for both sides saying they’re stuck closed. I tested the intake, manifold runner control valves by hooking up a vacuum pump and letting it sit for about five minutes to simulate the vacuum system on the car. The flap actuators appear to be working fine. All electrical connections and vacuum lines are connected every time I clear the code and go for a drive it comes right back. I’m wondering if perhaps having them installed and properly and the vehicle being driven if that caused an issue with the actuator? Looking for any advice as to what this issue could be thanks.

I had this code after doing thermostat and it didn’t seem to drive any different. Guess I’ll just pull the super charger for the 5th time

Thank you. I currently have it at the mechanic. Said 2500 just for parts..2 months out. I think I will get it back and tear it apart again and check this out

It’s a common mistakes when no one read the shop manual 😂 I make same mistakes but got corrected before install supercharger

My issue as well. Bank 1 A intake manifold stuck open. My only solvable idea is to by the actuator on the side that is faulty. Most likely the actuator froze n broke on you. If so I would change both to be safe.

If you can move the actuator arms manually up and down this means the air intake manifold is installed correctly, the issue is something else like a vacuum leak or a faulty actuators? Because I'm getting a fault code intake manifold stuck closed bank 1 and 2
