What was potentially a messy job turned out to be quite an easy one - thankfully!

I’ll add a comment! The filter is ahead of the left rear whee under a heatshield. I used a mix of clamps and mole grips and protected with a chopped hose. 27mm spanner to remove. There’s 2 o rings in the filter kit. It took me a while to figure out where the smaller one went. On the plastic vent nipple. Looked like it had never been replace and had fused. OCD kicked in and I scraped it off. Not entirely happy I decided to remove the bleed screw with an impact! And of course it sheared the end of t he nipple off. Resolve with bodge. Hope that helps someone!

Our TDIs are exactly the same model and reg but mine has the older diesel filter. Did you feel any difference in performance at all? My a2 has a lack of oomf sometimes so I’m hoping it’s not the turbo 🙁. Fantastic video as always.

I de-clamped the pipes and it started straight away without any problems, so I suppose the answer is yes! But the small screw is the middle can be loosened off to bleed but are made of plastic and break easily.
