Thanks for doing the video. Very clear picture. Could also be camshaft magnetic adjuster, the metal circular about 3" in diameter to the left of the oil filter. I got 16 code right after I replaced the o ring because oil was leaking out. I've never gotten this code before this. Keep doing the video and keep us posted.

I have this similar problem. Got and oil change, have a small leak and now check engine light with p0016 2015 A4 premium plus. How did you fix?

Take that 3" metal piece out and give a shake . make a noise =good Dont make a noise = Not good

This video should be put in the video Hall of Fame. You’re stuck then unstuck and finished the repaired. Then the battery failed then the jumper box failed … We all know it probably worked… 80% ha ha!!!

Check the flywheel ring around it, make sure nothing stick out or something stuck on the ring

I’m having this P0016 and P000A on my 2010 Volkswagen CC. Vehicle runs perfectly fine but I have the check engine light on. Recently did a timing chain and tensioner on the vehicle and I’m 💯 I did everything correctly. The cam bridge had the screen popped off but was able to find it. I know some people mention that the little mesh can cause low oil pressure if you let it travel around the oil passages causing P0016/P000A. I guess my question is, how could I go about diagnosing my issue?

Open up the plastic timing cover and set your cylinder 1 to tdc and check the timing marks see if they are on spec

Just finished pulling cam cover Didn't even have to set to tdc, Immediately you can see that on the intake cam the chain is a half tooth off and not fully meshed with the gear teeth, just riding on the top of gear tooth. Wish i could attach the pic 😂😂. I got so lucky valves didn't bend. Time to order a timing chain kit.

Do a quick Compression Test on all cylinders your probably low on Compression.

This sensor i replaced is for Crankshaft sensor. Your fault code is P000a is for camshaft valve its totally different

Make sure to check your timing chain marks, this vehicle i got end up removing the head and replace the timing components because to the chain stretched

My a4 b8 2009 2Tdi just shut off while driving no starting. After a day it started again no faulty codes , my mechanic changed the fuel filter hoping to solve the issue but no luck , almost shut off again couple days later. Do you think it can be the crankshaft senior?

Car broke down this week with camshaft crankshaft correlation sensor code. As of today I got it started car doesn’t want to move though can drive a few feet with no power. Got an oil change July 10 after doing some research apparently it’s common for valvoline to not properly tighten the drain plug and car could have slowly leaked oil. Looking for recommendations as for what to do no mechanics want to look as they all say it will be a money pit. 2010 a4 150k. Appreciate the video !

This is almost definitely high pressure fuel pump. Had same issue, drive for hours, let it sit for 20-60 mins, won’t start. Wait 2 hours, all good.

@@devintell7472 yes but the engine was done i had to replace it 🤦🏽 it had 2 bent valves and one of the pistons was bad. 3000 dollars engine and labor. Ouch

Pull out one spark plug and ground it out check for sparks on plug.

Try to change the control valve , the spring was popped out
