Do you know what the third cord is for? Talking about the cords attached to the mirror, you marked 1 of the 2 that looks the same, but there is another one that looks like it is soldered on, do you know what that one does? Thank you! @Lukes_whips

Great video - Thank you! I tried this mod on my 2010 S5 over the weekend but my factory mirror caps are/were glued to the mirror motor support frames. Any thoughts on how to get around that? Have you heard about that being done on any other B8's/B8.5's? Do you have any tips for how I might be able to get them off w/o damaging stuff?

You can get them with the blind spot detector cut out in it
