Audi A4 DTM - FG 5th Scale Body

Another exciting new painting project on my FG Sportsline, this time an amazing Audi A4 DTM body. I unpack the body as it is delivered, show how it fits on the chassis and explain about the additional hardware you may need to make this body work with your chassis.
In the week to come I will use liquid mask to prepare this body for paint, any suggestions on a theme are welcome in the comments box.

Whatever you do it's gonna rock ... look forward to watching this baby come to life! Redback Spider livery of Phoenix Racings Audi R8 LMS at the Bathurst 12 hour in 2012. It has very little advertising and once seen, hard to forget ... Awesome looking. Keep doing what ya doing ... love it!

Thank you for the nice comment! The chassis is a FG Sportsline 4WD chassis, 530 mm wheelbase. The car comes with (I was pleasantly surprised by this) a 26cc engine where I was expecting a 23 cc. The engine is a 2-bolt Zenoah G260RC, the 4-bolt I have in one of my other cars has been proven extremely durable and powerful. Have fun RCing!

it would be really awesome if you did a fire and ice body i love your videos and i also love to paint bodies im ok no where near as good as but it would be cool if we did something together sometime man your awesome keep on doing great things!!!

Love your channel! You may feel it's overdone but I really like the Ken Block Ford Fiesta paint scheme. Either the dripping paint look of his older Fiesta or the 2012 fiesta that looks like a crackling of the paint (has nothing to do with audi racing but it does look sweet). Looking forward to which ever you paint job you choose. Thanks for all your videos!!!

if i change the wheels on a 5th scale maverick blackout MT /redcat MT will that body fit??

Hey Chris, Your Jeff Koons replica paint job is off the hook! It inspired me to mimic other art car designs on my latest body project. If you want to go big again I suggest replicating one of the Sharpie art cars. You'd nail it, I'm sure, with your excellent artistic talent. Cheers! Keep the videos coming!
