Guide on how to remove the front door card panel from an A5 8T (models from 2008 - 2015).
The door card panel removal is necessary to perform a number of jobs such as wing mirror, window motor/regulator, door lock, glass etc.

Thank you guys very helpful and clear, I found the window cables had come off motor, pulley,so ordered a new system from you on ebay, much less messing around and be fixed before any winter problems.

Thanks for the simple and helpful video, with the B&O System the f****ng doors rattle when the bass kicks, and i need to install some sound damping ^^

Steven Lowes no worries. Easy enough if you are patient. Just did it on my 2008 coupe and left the stock amp. Much better.

Cristian Mocanu I know the guides abit old so newer speakers would have come out since then, did you use the speaker in the guide or something else?

@@SteCollects i used a Rockford P1S4-10 however I run into issues where it doesn't stay flat on the tray due to short edges so I had to create a parcel tray so you can look at ordering a sub with the edges as short as possible.

How would i go about removing the door card for a door actuator removale if the door doesnt open with either handles or fob?

Hi,, that would be very difficult to do without opening the door. You may need to cut/break the door card to remove it. Removing the screws that you can still access around the handle etc will make this easier.

Do you mean the screws which hold the speaker in place? If so, they should be a T20 or T25 torx.

Speaker size should be 20cm(8 inch i think), Alpine sells Upgrade speaker kits for the A5 called "SPC-100AU" they are 20cm.

I gave up. I cannot remove that window switch panel without feeling I'm going *uck everything up. The guy in the video makes it look so easy but does not show how to even start with that panel.

Take big flat head screwdriver and put it in cloth. Slide it in the smal slot under the plastic. And then jank it out. Dont lever the screwdriver just hold it with both hands one hand near the top of screwdriver and the other on the handle and pull both hands towards you.

Anyone know if I’ll be able to push a dent out my door if I remove the door card and push the bulk of it out? Just as a temporary fix so it’s less of an eye sore till I get it professionally repaired
