Great tool to have, idk if it’s cause I’m using iOS but the mirror dip app didn’t change anything on my A5. Not only that but there wasn’t that many apps available for it. On the bright side though I was able to program my new battery through long adaptation &+ my mom has a Q5 & my girl has an A4(& I have an older stage 2 Jetta that’s collecting dust 😅) so it’ll come in handy diagnosing any issues on their cars. Edit: I got mirror dip to work along with some other apps after trying again & there was a lot more to do on the A4. If you’re considering buying this it pays for itself very quickly.

Yeah, the Obdeleven is an awesome tool to have. I don't think you mentioned it in this video, but you can also code a new battery for Audi's when replacing your battery. Normally a dealership would charge you a fee for them to do it.

So will this interface show up on a regular 3G mmi screen? And does this device include a Bluetooth transmitter so I can play music through the mmi?

no it will only show up on a phone or tablet , unless you got the upgrade to your system to have stand alone apps , and the device only has blu tooth connectivity to what you see

I always turn my Scandinavians turned on. It turns on your rear (daytime running) lights. IMO It looks good during the day.

I have an RSNav S3 it Audi A4 B8, just ordered the OBDeleven Next Gen but cannot get the device to show up when I hit the connect button. Works fine from my phone but won’t show up on the RSNav…how did you get it to work on RSNav (app already installed on RSNav just can’t get device to show up so I can finish “connecting”)? Thanks in advance for any info you can share

It’s 2 blue tooth settings , one in settings on the rsnav just like an Android phone in apps, and one in blue tooth settings, hook it up to the first one or. Both

Hey Bruce - any additional info you can share? OBDeleven doesn’t show up in Bluetooth of RSNav in either of the two places you can add a device. And again, it doesn’t come up when trying to connect. Trying to get this on my RSNav versus from my phone and it’s driving me crazy knowing you’ve done it and it’s possible so thanks for any info you may be able to share.

How old eleven give you free points ? I mean what you need to buy because i see some options 1 just old eleven for 50 € . 2 obd eleven with one year pro plan 75 € . 3 obd eleven pro with 200 credits for over 100€ . Is that cheaper will have also some credits ?

Hey Bruce, Newer A4 B8s have the A/C-Heated Seats-Fan Speed-Air Flow Controller with a "White-Numbers" display. On the other hand, older A4 B8s have a very similar Controller but the display have "Red-Numbers" (Im not referring to the color shown on the MMI screen, but actually on the controller itself) Can you do a video tutorial of how to use OBDEleven (NOT Vagcom) to do a long coding or adaptation in order to upgrade the "Red-Numbers" Controller to the "White-Numbers" Controller? I know that the "Red-Numbers" Controller allows the heated seats to have from 0-to-6 levels of heat, while the "White-Numbers" Controller "only" have 3 levels of heat but I think that there are some people that were able to do the upgrade correctly and able to use all the functions of the controller with no problems (including levels of fan speed, A/C usage, etc). Thank you in advance and congrats on your channel (especially in regards to performance), we are learning a lot about our A4s! 😎👍

the only downside about the 1st gen obd11 is that it will kill your battery if you leave it plugged in for a few days of non use
